Dehydration and the munchies are the worst culprits, I've found.

Yeah. When I'm doing all night laser tag I grab gatorade and power bars.

Assuming this is not a physical activity, water's probably better (though I still prefer the taste of gatorade). Stay away from caffeine.

I actually drink/eat enough that my biggest problem is bathroom breaks

It's pretty sweet, actually. Way better than it being dark most of the time in the winter.

I personally enjoy the variety; the few months of dark in the winter is a nice counterbalance for the light of the summer. Summer, few months of few hour nights and winter, the opposite...
