"Well... my mother possesses this artifact- a monstrance, I think it is called."
Crimson curls up a little more in Corentin's arms, biting her lip.
"It's like an extension of my body. If we... start trying to change me, she could use it against us."

Nothing. he says with the smile that comes with a sudden revelation.

He smiles slyly.

Corentin nodded. "So we need to get it form her. Where is it?"

Didn't you hear that? Ignoring Johnny, she moves to take Dani gently by the arm. Out of our league. When something somehow manages to know more than it should and can block off your attempts effortlessly, you back off.

But, stepping away from Angela, she goes to trail her fingers across the back of his neck...before circling the table back to the elder (in senority, not age...) priestess and nodding for her to lead on.



Quinn reaches over and puts her hand on Crimson's shoulder.

"Irene barely managed to get out of the Underworld. I don't want to risk anyone else."

Quinn moves over and goes to wrap her arms around Crimson to hug her tightly.
