Hmm... How about a combination of the two? His sword basically steals an enemy's reiatsu with every hit, in turn making the blade stronger as the battle wears on. Once it has absorbed a certain amount, it can be used for a powerful ranged attack or something like that. I guess it would be similar to Harribel's zanpakutou. The danger lies in being able to control the spirit energy within the blade, since it could explode if his concentration breaks.

How about ideas for names? I'm fine with naming arrancar zanpakutous, since those can just be animals, but this is a whole other ball game.

I really like the combo idea, it really fits with the heroic theme of enduring. It's especially funny to think of the spirit being a drunk, and the 'hero' being the sort to run first, and ask questions later. "Run, dodge, run, cornered, panic BLAST!!1!"

Sigmund's mask is primarily the source of insanely overpowered healing. The boost it provides to all of his other abilities is minor at best. I don't remember what the other Vizards' masks add though.

:P you mean if you masted it? I'd say it would probably give a 1.5 boost to your power for as long as the mask is formed. But, you gotta remember, how long did it take Ichigo to be able to summon the mask for more than 2 seconds? and he has copious amounts of spiritual energy.

@SirShadow: Yeah, yeah. I figure I have a decent shot with a bit of help from the other Vizard. Plus, Ichigo's pretty undisciplined. Satoshi has tons more discipline, which should help him quite a bit.

No, he was stated to have learned to control his Inner Hollow very slowly. It's his Bankai training that benefited from his absurd spirit energy.

First, I highly doubt the Captain Commander would have aimed the blast such that it would have killed any humans, let alone that many.

Second, even if he had, most of the 2nd squad, and probably members of other squads, is currently on patrol/cleanup of the area. See my above post responding to OverWilliam.
