[ACRO] GLoG 28: The People's Republic of Magtok

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt's eye twitches. "I am aware of that, thank you very much."

"I knew that more than anyone. He hid stuff from me all the time. It's just... the fact he's put someone else through all... that... and I was fairly certain he didn't take anyone else from my world."

Butler spots George! Go shirtless catman butler go! "Hello sir. How are you doing today sir?"

[Morty]

Oh, right. Wenomir remembers what he heard about Reinholdt's life. Well, what makes you think it's someone from your world?

[Jackalajack]

"Oh gosh, sir, I am so very fine thank you for asking!" responds George, flashing his Wide-Smile™. "And how are you?"

[Reinholdt]

"Well... the star mostly I guess. It's pretty unusual for a talking cat to have a star like that. But Calublufiok had copies of the original. And Chelonie said so..." He got so wrapped up in being pissed off, he didn't really consider other options.

Largely because the coincidence in the matter and the odds would be so astronomically high...

Butler's trademark smile! It's catching! Oh well. He smiles back. "I'm doing well sir. I haven't seen you here before sir? Are you new here sir. Or are you a vegeteranian sir?"

[The Bushranger]

And, finally, Dani's eyes start to flutter open a little, as she relaxes her grip on Sam's arm a bit.

[Morty]

Wenomir rubs his forehead. You know, I'm pretty sure I've seen talking animals around here. And star is a common enough shape.

[Jackalajack]

"Well yes I am sort of knew, but not really. I have been here for a few days although yesterday and the day before I have been doing things and gosh I am glad to be back the people here are so very nice! Like you! But no I am not a vegeteramushickle...vegeteragladun...vegetable person."

Sam makes sure the first thing Dani sees is her smiling face, so she doesn't panic or worry.

[Reinholdt]

"I guess..." Just seems so unlikely to have any other explanation though.

"Vegeteranian sir. Not vegetable sir. Vegetables are plants sir. Vegeteranian is someone who's been around a really long time sir. Have you been given the tour yet sir?"

[Morty]

Do you know where that cat is right now? Coincidence or not, paranoia pays off 'round here.

[The Bushranger]

And, after a moment of frantic looking around, Dani manages to focus on Sam's face, and visibly relaxes back into the bed.
Y...came for me. she whispers, each word clearly a great effort.

[Jackalajack]

"Oh. No I have not been given a tour. But a nice robot showed me the kitchen and then I found the training room where I met this girl named Zee and she showed me the medical place after she knocked somebody out because they were fighting and I think fighting is wrong." explains George. "But gosh if you're offering to give me a tour I will be very much happy to come along!"

Assuming the grip on her arm has been loosened, Sam tries to shift so she's lying next to her partner. I did. Are you all right, Dani?

[Reinholdt]

Hehe. Doesn't it?
Reinholdt shakes his head. "No. It left a number of days ago and I only just found out about it. The blood rain outside would've covered any scent so tracking it isn't really an option. It could be anywhere by now."

Butler smiles. Yay! A tour! He hasn't gotten to do that in a while! "This way sir!" If George follows he'll show him the various places. The great room, the infirmary, the library, the member's quarters, the Strange Purple Glowy Things (portals), the labs, the detention cells, the unused offices, unused shrines, the now dead rose garden, the now dead conservatory, the training room, the armory, the hot tub, the swimming pool, the suana, the fountain out front, the enclosed open wood space (gazebo), the artifact vault, the pipeworks, the sparring pits, the shooting range, the obstacle course, the laundry room, and finally the Great Closet.

Lots of sirs.

Feel...fuzzy. Sore...
Dani turns to try to curl up against Sam, tucking her head under her partner's chin. Knew you'd...be there, save me.

[Morty]

Drat. Well, let me know if it shows up again. Wenomir turns to leave.

I'll always save you. Sam swallows hard and puts an arm around her. Dani, I need you to focus, all right? How are you? Everything fine?

[Jackalajack]

For every sir, George has a "gosh", "gee", "golly", "super", "ultra", or "really".

"My that was a super interesting tour Mr...Mr...Mr...What's your name? I'm George" asks George, curious.

[The Bushranger]

Dani smiles at Sam's words, snuggling closer, and trying to wrap her still fogged brain around things. I'm...tired. Weak. I...think I'm alright other...otherwise.

And then something occurs to her, and she starts to sniffle.
Sorry I...left...disobeyed. Thought I could...buy presents...

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt nods as Wenomir leaves. "Alright." He looks back at the monitor before shutting it off. Bah!

He goes to clean himself up before heading to the vault. There was a book he still wanted to investigate.

Butler bows to George. "Butler B. Butler sir. A pleasure to meet you sir. Can I get anything for you now that the tour is over sir?"

[Jackalajack]

"Well gee, not really! I don't need much. But could you pretty please tell me what the B. stands for in your name? Is it Butler? I bet it's Butler!" inquires George, sitting down somewhere that is appropriate for sitting.

They drugged you, love. You'll be fine... Sam tries to kiss Dani's head and snuggle back, but finds herself watering up. It's okay... I... I have your bag here...

There is a faint tapping on the newly repaired door.
Here's hoping someone will answer it this time...

[Reinholdt]

Butler grins widely. "That's right sir! It's Butler Butler Butler sir! I choose the name myself sir. You're very clever sir." Nobody's ever guessed his middle name before!

Out loud...

[Morty]

And lo, Wenomir, who put his armor on in the meantime, opens the door.

[The Bushranger]

Dani smiles and hugs Sam as tightly as she can.
You...do? Good...
She manages to giggle softly.
Early...presents then. Love you...

It's Serene again!
She actually looks moderately displeased that she doesn't have an excuse to bash down the door again.
The herculean, sword wielding warrior woman nods her thanks to Wenomir and will simply brush past him and into the base unless otherwise stopped, the alignment detector screaming "EVIL" once more.

God, I love you too... She starts crying and hugs Dani back.

[Jackalajack]

"Well, gosh, I think such a super nice person needs an extra cooler name! It needs to have triple more uniqueness!" George thinks a bit before going "Aha!" then he shakes his head, saying "No..." before going "Aha!" once more. "How about...Super Butler the Magnificent?!"

[Morty]
