Did he? Well, let's just assume he found it in the things he had confiscated.
Her name is Dorothy Ellen Williams. According to Corentin, she's Danielle's sister.

[Kaelaroth]

Cynthia does indeed smile at the flourish, quietly, but no laugh escapes from her pretty face - and words don't, either, she shrugs, slightly, at Reinholdt's question, and looks apologetic.

And her player keeps thinking about Corinna, Corinna!


Czernov, meanwhile, sighs. Awkward. Have you spoken to Dani? This could be a solution.

I haven't had the opportunity yet. Besides, family can be a delicate matter.

Decker pulls back so she can look Butler in the eyes. "I love you more than anything. More than socks or lollipops or smashing ducks. And I always will."

"I think we have some bluberry muffins in the kitchen," Chelonie says. Because her player is eating some now. Yummy!

Yes. However, Dani may not react well to her sister being "marked", for example; and it might be an easy solution if Dani merely persuades her sister to apologise, et cetera. Czernov sighs. Ask Quinn or Vorka for help if you are really struggling with telling her, or even Corentin.

The book smiles. And.. shows a picture of..
.. a wedding?

Cynthia smiles at the mention of blueberry muffins.

I think Corentin might have already told her; he was there to see her be captured, and he would undoubtedly fare better in that conversation. Though I doubth Danielle's persuasions would achieve much in any case.

[Reinholdt]

Butler smiles. He nods at the book. "Yes sir. Me and Decker are married sir." And he does not understand the whole marry only one person thing. Not that it's wrong, just that he would never understand that.

He does understand Decker though. And leans in to kiss her.

Irene searches.

"Alright. One second." Reinholdt goes into the kitchen to get the blueberry muffins and bring them back to Cynthia.

[Kaelaroth]

The book's Butler, who swiftly reappears on the page, nods.
And shows a picture of Butler reading out from the book; and Vidalia walking towards him, with love. A cute little chinchilla dancing about their feet! Meanwhile, in the picture, Decker's running up to them both, looking happy, with a tray of cakes and lollipops.

And, Cynthia, when given said BMs, eats.

Czernov sighs. Make sure, try anyway.

Decker is kissed. And kisses back. And pets and snuggles and comfortings, with or without curtains, depending on which Butler seems to need. If the book chooses to watch, I don't imagine either Butler or Decker will object.

edit: She would probably try to discourage Butler from reading this spell, but perhaps he's distracted enough that he wouldn't try.

Chelonie, despite her determination to watch after Cynthia, falls asleep while the muffins are being fetched.

Then I'll go look for either Corentin or Danielle. And so Wenomir does.
((Deadtime.))

[Reinholdt]

He shakes his head no at the book. "I could never make her sir. Deciding for her is wrong sir." He doesn't understand much about the book, but he knows the book makes things happen.

Butler does not want curtains right now. He returns to what he does need though. Which is probably snuggles and a make-out session.

"So how are you holding up Cynthia?"

[Kaelaroth]

Cynthia, once she's managed to nibble her way through her first blueberry muffin, looks up at Reinholdt, and looks sad. That's a kinda reply, right?

And the book erases the image, then. And then simply has a picture of Butler looking Happy with Decker, no tears on his face, nothing nearby.
And an incantation beneath it; though, to make it clear it wants him to choose, there's a proper question mark.

[Reinholdt]

Butler fast-forwards through the session.
He looks at the book inquisitively. "I don't understand sir. What do you want me to choose between sir? I'm not sure I understand the question sir."

It may be time for multiple choice.

"Hey, don't worry. Magtok will come get you soon, I'm sure of it." If only to keep people away from her. Especially Reinholdt.

Do we even have a cleric, any more, with powers that advanced?

As a matter of fact, GLoG has an active cleric who is more powerful then, perhaps, anyone realizes. She's trying to be "redeemed" too.

Angela is wandering, sword securely attached to her belt.

The book offers two pictures. One is a similar image of what's going on now. Butler, upset, snuggling Decker nearby, Vidalia off nearby having passionate sexual relations with Corentin, who's slightly more good looking in book-world than he really is. The other is merely a picture of Butler and Decker alone, snuggling, looking peaceful and Happy - while Vidalia's nearby, holding hands with Corentin, but picture-Butler and Decker don't seem to mind.

Cynthia nods, tentative, still in her Great Room chair.

Butler ponders. This hurts his head. Why couldn't Decker tell him what to do? Right... asleep. Drats.

Something seems wrong about it. "I don't... I don't think I want to be happy without Vidalia sir. But I don't want to be sad either sir." Butler is so confused right now. The book has never been wrong before though...

Well... Irene's not doing anything right now. Suppose she runs into Angela. "Oh. Hello."

"Would you like a game to play while you wait? Maybe a puzzle?"

[Kaelaroth]

The book waits. It won't mind him taking his time. However, little pictures seem to dance about the side, as if to offer him new spells, if needs be.
...
One of them seems to just show a big ball of yarn.

Cynthia nods.
Wow, she's the life'n'soul of the party.

Angela smiles and looks at Irene curiously, recognizing the powerful phermones. Hello. I'm Angela.

[Reinholdt]

Butler probably would have chosen to actually read the incantation.
If he didn't get distracted by a ball of yarn. "Oh yes sir. I'd love one sir." He reads that one.

"Alright." Reinholdt brings out Monopoly, Clue, and a puzzle. "What would you like to do?"

Somebody recognizes them? Irene doesn't even know of them!
And I forget sometimes myself.

And the book summons a comically large, cuddly, ball of yarn.

Butler pounces on his yarn and bats at it. "Oh thank you sir!"

Reinholdt hands her the puzzle.
He sits down to help her a bit unless she seems like she doesn't want that.

"Oh. Drats. Oh well." Irene sighs. "Well, I'll find her wherever she's run off to sometime later I suppose." Lousy deadtime oozes.

Oh, no, Cynthia's pro-help.
And, how odd! She doesn't seem to be using any funky powers, or brain-super-special-smarts, to do it. She's just being an average four year old.
In a grown-up's body.

The book's only too happy to help. And, unless needed more, it curls up into a close.

Angela nods. Say, how long have you been here?

Reinholdt helps Cynthia out with the puzzle.
Huh. She seems... underperforming for her age. "So how old are you Cynthia?"

Butler plays with his ball of yarn.

"Ummm... a little while on. As in a couple of months. Then a few weeks off. Then back on. Only recently re-arrived. You?"

Cynthia doesn't know, and expresses such lack of knowledge in a shrug, as she places, with a slightly wobbling hand, the door of the windmill on the windmill!

Book is shut. All is well.

I got here fairly recently. I figure I should look more into this redemption thing; nobody could really tell me how it happens.
Really, she's almost run out of single people to seduce for POWER!

[Reinholdt]

"Huh." Odd. "So Magtok is your father, yes? Where were you before you met him?"

"Redemption? Well... I suppose you start by admitting your mistakes. Then you examine those mistakes and what caused them. Then you take steps to change that part of you that caused you to make those mistakes in the first place so they don't crop up again. And in the meantime you do what you can to make reparations for any damage you caused earlier. Does that help?"

[Kaelaroth]

N-n-n-n-no-w-w-wh-where. Cyntia stutters, her voice childlike, while she scrabbles for a nearby piece, and starts to try and put the sun in a pond.
