"And really? No one told you that before? How long have you been here exactly?" The value of this place just keeps sinking and sinking.

Well... with luck that new management thing would turn things around soon. It'd better.

Less then a month... The only other person who told me about it, Dani, said that it was about the atmosphere, and being surrounded by good people... Angela shrugs uneasily.

[Kaelaroth]

Irene? Czernov says, wandering towards her, before he sees Angela, nodding, swiftly. He seems unaffected by the formers pheromones (and beauty), and the latters gorgeousness.

After a little while, Cynthia twigs what he means, and manages it. Yay!

[Reinholdt]

"Well that's not true. You have to actively work on it and... oh yeah. That's me." She goes on guard. The last person to ask that was trying to kill her.

"So what's the very first thing you remember Cynthia?"

Angela nods easily to Czernov and unobtrusively takes a step back.

W-w-w-wa-waking u-u-up. She's allowed to tell him that, because he already knows she knows Magtok!

I am Czernov; new President of GLoG. It is nice to meet you. Heavy accent is heavy.

"I see. And do you have a purpose? Like ending the world or some such?" If she's anything like Kaela maybe she'll start talking funny. He continues smiling at her and helping her with her puzzle.

Two things; a woman attacked you, yes? Did, before the attempt, you know her? And, do you happen to know, or even dislike, Reinholdt? He asks. And, secondly: would you be interested in helping with one of our redemption classes?

Cynthia shakes to the negative!

Hmmm...
Well... fine.
For now. He doesn't like it though. Doesn't like it one bit. And if it wouldn't jeopardize everything he'd shoot her right here and now just to be extra sure the world was safe.

"So how long have you known Magtok?"

"Yeah, a woman attacked me. Before trying to extort me for money while attacking me. I don't know her but I saw her talking to Corentin in the tavern before. Reinholdt? Yeah, I know him. Like him too. The guy helped me out in a tough spot. Seems nice enough to me."

"One of those Redemption classes?" Irene's not totally sure. But she doesn't think anyone else would be very good at the job from what she's seen. "Yeah, I'll do it. I may be in and out of the place though. Helping someone you see."

She looks over at Angela. "See? We'll help you out in a jiffy."

Angela hesitantly smiles at Irene, sticking around to hear more about Reinholdt.

Cynthia shrugs. W-w-weeks?

Well, then you have prior experience at giving help to those who need it. Perfect. Czernov says, smiling, before falling back to the slightly more serious matters. That is good to know; the woman is claiming that Reinholdt hired her to kill you - though it did strike me as unlikely. Thank you.

[Reinholdt]

"And you met him right as you woke up, right?"

Irene is rather shocked. Takes a moment to recover. "Uhhh... yeah. I can see that. Doesn't make any sense to me. I've never done anything to him. Not that I know of anyways. I only know of three people who'd want me dead. Adam, Magtok, and The Dowager. And well... anyone who works with The Dowager." Now that she thinks about it, a whole lot more people want her dead than she likes. When the heck did that happen?

[Kaelaroth]

Well, Magtok is.. is.. currently under investigation. Not that there is much to investigate. Czernov says sighing. Think little of it. It is not Reinholdt, of that I am sure, and your "assassin" is locked away.
I shall shortly be putting up information on redemption classes; look out for it. Thanks. He nods to them both, and goes on his way.

Cynthia nods, and is eaten by deadtime.

Angela touches her holy symbol and... simply disappears.

Yeah. Definitely created. Was Magtok TRYING to destroy the world? That idiotic bucket of bolts. Reinholdt sticks around to help Cynthia with puzzle while she's deadtimed. Getting more puzzles for her as necessary.

"You're welcome." She waves goodbye watching after Czernov.

"Sorry about that. I don't know why they don't hurry up and kill the assassin. She's only going to try again."

"So where were we?" Irene turns back to Angela. And blinks. Angela is gone. What?

Tia seems rather uncomfortable with Vlad's suggestion of of checking the camera feeds. Um... That's okay... I'm sure if there is any truth to it, I'll be able to figure it out myself. Thanks though.

[Falgorn]

Marcos undeadtimes and goes to the pool. He smiles at Tia and Vlad. But then notices Tia topless...again. He looks Vlad in the eyes. Hello, Tia. And, I don't believe I've met you...I'm Marcos.

[Lord Magtok]

Is...is that Reinholdt walking in through the front door? But...but Rein's already inside, next to the deadtimed Cynthia...something is horribly wrong and confusing here.

Reinholdt 2, the one who just walked in, strolls down to the library, paying no attention to Reinholdt 1 as he moves past himself and the deadtimed Cynthia.

Tia smiles at Marcos and tries to put the thoughts of what Vidalia said out of her mind. Hi Marcos. This is Vlad. Wanna join us?

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt... has no intentions to ignore this as he strolls past.

"What the? What's going on here? Hey you!" He'll reach out and try to grab Reinholdt by the arm to stop him as he goes past. And will most certainly follow if need be.

[Lord Magtok]

Reinholdt II is promptly startled and stopped by the shoulder grab. He's pretty shaky for a cat-guy who seemed so calm and casual just a moment ago.

Wha-?

[Reinholdt]

"That's what I'm asking you! What's going on here?"
Either magic or... Magtok.
He's willing to go with the second one.

"Where did you just come from?"

There's a-knocking at the door.

Marcos? Trying anything? The very thought....

Sure, if I'm not interrupting anything that might be happening with you two. He grins.

Dani stirs and, after kissing Sam's cheek, showers, dresses, and...heads in the direction of the pool!



Quinn is busy in her room, writing in her diary.



Shrike, in her detention cell, is singing a chorus of Ninety-Nine Bottles of Beer on the Wall. She's down to fifty-eight...

In the detention blocks, footsteps herald the arrival of Corentin Apollinaire, Gentleman Adventurer.

"You have a lovely singing voice, Miss Shrike."

Falgorn goes to the detention center, mainly to check out the assassin who slipped up. He makes his way into the cell. "Yo. What're you in for?" He turns to Corentin. "Hey...Rintintin."

Poor Reinholdt II seems to be as entirely clueless and baffled by all of this as Rein 1. And terrified, to boot. Some creepily identical cat-guy is angry at him!

Out...outside, of course. Why?

Marley sits in the rose garden, just sitting, letting the calmness of the garden relax him.

[Reinholdt]

Somebody else needs to get the door for Earl. Rein has to go very soon.

"Before that! And you're going to answer the question as we go right back out there." Reinholdt tries to take Reinholdt Outside.
