Not strenuous exercise, the exercise of rights, the right to excise need not be strenuous nor stentorian! Say I? I shouldn't. Have been stentorian quite enough on the subject.

I can leave prints, a print at a time, like the tracks of ungulates I've never heard of before cracking open that encyclopedia which thoughtfully included the tracks yet contained no description of the animal! Shoddy fact-checking Disney, very shoddy indeed! The encyclopedia outlived its companion educational program!

Why was carbolic acid sold at pharmacies back when you call them druggists for their stocking of basic (that's fundamental, not alkaline) chemicals and chemists who knew how to mix them to best effect? Corrosive! Was the hypochlorite not enough?

Hmm, no, never heard of blue steak. Though I've heard of steak tartar...

Must've misread your post, because I could've sworn you said 'ground beef'

    I don't think so...

Buy good beef, and you can eat it raw. Problem deliciously solved! Nomnomnom.
If you don't like your dinner going 'moo', I'd advise you never ordered a rare steak in France. They cook beef properly there.

No, but it is the most bustling metropolis.

The capital is Squirreltown, with some offices in FunkyVille USA.

    ...

Yes, there is a town called Funkyville USA in Rutskarnia. Not like they have a copyright on it or anything.

    Warm milk?

    Room temperature chocolate milk?

Going for a ten minute, leisurely walk?

Get a sleeping mask and force yourself to wear it and think about an image rather than anything else like words or events for 10 minutes while lying in a dark room?

Suffocate yourself using only your bare hands in such a way that you can no longer block your air supply upon losing consciousness? [Warning: Not Recommended for actual at home. Try it in your DND campaign today though.]

Some warm water in a mug, not tea-hot or anything, but enough that it helps?

Fill some plastic bottles with hot water from the tap or kettle(after it's cooled for a bit so that spilling any won't cause 2nd degree burns), seal 'em, and place them into your bed about 20 minutes before you get into it?

Turn off the computer when you get up to brush your teeth for the night and go from there?

I was at a triathlon today. Or rather, I took pictures for a newspaper of traithlon athletes as they ran past me. Taking pictures of people exercising is like exercising, right?

This was sort of a low-scale triathlon; the participants didn't have to run up mountains or swim across rivers or anything. Just a few laps in the pool, over a dozen kilometres by bike and a few kilometres running. Sort of a triathlon for "the common man." (I actually at least one group of fortysomething less-than-in-peak-physical-condition soccer moms who thought they'd try it out.)

Still, there were some hard-core triathloners (is that right?) out there, accumulating points for some provincial competition thing. Anyhoo, if you ever find yourself in a triathlon, there's a method you can use to spot the rookies and newcomers from the die-hards: their outfits.

Most of the die-hards wear just enough to not get arrested. There was a lot of beefcake, both male and female, on display of the streets of the town where I live. An old guy pushing seventy running down the street in Speedos? All my four eyes were emitting little wisps of smoke.

The absolute worst get-up I saw was the plunging V-neck jumpsuits on a few dudes. As in kneel-before-Zod plunging V-neck jumpsuits. NOT A GOOD LOOK.

It's going multisyllabic that sounds pretentious in English. That's why the current censored words are censored--they're mostly single syllables. That's also why speakers of other languages can't figure out why we're so unoriginal in our verbal abuse. As far as blasphemy goes, I figure if I'm going to offend a deity, I'm going to do it up right. More than that, if I know Mr. "for a bunch of atheists, you sure appeal to God a lot" is within earshot, I aim for a saint instead, with extra details. Complaints about the space-time continuum are valid in a few select areas (Sanctus Seru, Direwind Cliffs, Meldrath's Majestic Mansion, a few other zones in EQ) where problems with it exist.

Burgers to nakedness to swearing and cursing?
    Strange.

When I curse I tend to be a bit more original, or certainly geeky.
I use Shakespeare, sometimes obscure ones, sometimes not. My goal is to memorise the long cursing scene in King Lear where Kent is swearing at Oswald: "Thou whoreson zed, thou nothing letter . . . thou mangy son and heir of a mongrel dog" etcetera because it's just fantastic.
Oftentimes I'll use a mixture of 'fictional' or ancient gods/demons. That's especially fun when I use about five or six well known/obscure demons.
Or I'll just swear/insult/curse them using a mixture of everything while ranting at them.

Being well read is fun and one should display it perfectly when it comes to insults and/or swearing vengeace upon people and/or cursing them to the ninth generation.

    ION:
I'm finishing off a long overdue story here, and I'm scaring myself with it. And I'm trying my hardest to fit in some lyrical descriptions too.
I don't know how I can imagine these things. I actually creeped myself out when rereading it.

The man's eyes opened. He sat straight up, the bed beneath him expelling what appeared to be enough dust to smother a large mouse, or was it just a small rat? Regardless, he tossed the deceased rodent aside and slipped off the rotting mattress.

He reached up to rub the morning from his eyes and stood up. He fell down again. He looked at his legs, in horror: they were reduced to almost twig-like entities, the muscle being nearly eaten away. He scrambled to get on his feet again, grabbing onto a mounted Katana for balance.

He stumbled through the house, dust rising from the carpet as he walked. He gabbed a bookshelf on his way into the kitchen, but let go to clasp his nose. The room beyond greeted him with a smell so foul he could only classify it as "Holy mother of what the crap." He plugged his nose and hurried on. A carton of chocolate milk sat on the counter, a prostrate bottle of pills nearby.

    The man ran.

He dared not believe what the evidence suggested, he ran out into the street. The cars were empty, the sounds of birds filled the air, not a soul walked down broadway. He turned and ran down towards the river, surely someone would be across the way?

He found no one. Boats clogged the river. He felt shaky and sat on a piece of debris. "Debris?" he thought. He jumped up and stared at his seat. It was a large, green, metallic spike. He looked a ways north, a large green foot. He looked a ways south, a large green head.

"No," he cried, his voice hoarse. He grabbed at his face, now a mass of facial hair. "No," he cried again, "You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"

Coidzor, this is my story. You did this to me with your sleep-aid. You have destroyed everything, and I blame you.

    *giggles*
Excellent! You should write more. Shame about the statue thingy though.

My story progresses well, I'm hoping the dialogue conveys just how lucidly crazy these people are.
