Angela quickly dresses in her room, and then packs up some of her clothes and items before trying to leave.

Corentin is in the kitchen, drinking tea.

Misaki is waking up in Quinn's room.

Quinn makes no move to stop Angela, laying there pretending to be asleep, watching the cleric depart, and wonding just what in Hades got into her the previous night.
She didn't even like girls that way...

Once she's gone she sits up and sighs, looking down and sighing, wondering exatly how to explain this...
Deciding honesty is the best policy, she raises a hand to her neck and channels a little healing into it before cleaning up, dressing and heading to her own room, gently knocking on the door so as not to surprise Misaki if she's awake.

Misaki goes over and opens the door. "Hi, Quinn."

[Kitchen]

Sunny walks in. She seems to have acquired some clothing besides hospital gowns. "Hello Cory."

Corentin nodded at Sunny. "Hello, Sunny." He held up his cup. "Would Sunny like some tea?"

[The Bushranger]

Hey sweetie. Quinn, looking a little tired out, smiles and pulls Misaki into a tight hug. Sorry you were alone last night, I had a lot of stuff to deal with and kinda collapsed on the spot.

Technically true.

[Neon Knight]

"It's okay. Mama had to work late too." Misaki hugged Quinn back, quite relieved and happy to see her again despite her assurances.

[Kitchen]

"Yes, please." Sunny says. "How Cory? Bad man not hurt Cory?" She's thinking of the Astir attack.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn smiles and nods. I guess that's true, but still... She steps back after a moment and smiles. So what would you like to do today?



Dani is sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of hot tea in her hands, staring into it.

[Neon Knight]

Corentin fixes up a cup of tea for Sunny. It's rather sweet compared to his own dark and bitter cup, but he thinks that will be closer to her preferences. "Cory is alright. Cory wasn't hurt."

Corentin looks to Dani. "Is something wrong, Miss Dani?"

Misaki looked back up at Quinn. "I don't know. What do you want to do?"

Well, I'm still pretty tired...but I need to do another inventory check. Maybe you could help me in the Infirmary? Quinn offers, smiling warmly at Misaki.



Dani swirls her tea, then looks up at Corentin, her cheeks stained with tears.
It's Sammie...she kinda...freaked out last night and ran off and I'm scared about what she might do.

[Neon Knight]

Misaki nodded at Quinn. "Okay."

Corentin sat down at the table. "I see."

"Miss Dani, I am afraid I can be of little comfort. I have never met Miss Sam, even after all this time knowing you." That seemed to be his fate. A good will, but always impaired from enacting that will to better the lives of those he cared for. "Miss Dani, I know that you are a good woman. I trust that anyone that is worthy of your love is a good person, as well. I can't say for sure, but I think things will work out."

[The Bushranger]

You can be my assistant! How would you like that?
With a bigger smile now, Quinn reaches for Misaki's hand to lead her to the Infirmary.
Where Quinn's first order of business is to check on Chelonie.



Dani listens to Corentin for a moment, then nods, but looks only slightly reassured. I...I really hope so. I'm scared for her.

[Kitchen]

Scary emotional stuff! Sunny decides to try and slip out unnoticed. And go hunting for something that would make her robot work! Maybe she'll run into DC in the labs?

[Infirmary Room 2]

Chelonie is unconscious. She seems to be healing, though somewhat slower than she used to before she had CFS. Not that Quinn would remember, but it would be in the medical records.

[The Morgue]

The Shadow of Chelonie is still sitting vigil over Magtok.

[Neon Knight]

"Okay!" Misaki held Quinn's hand and obediently followed her to the infirmary.

Corentin nodded. "I know. And it hurts when all you can do for someone is be scared. But that is the way the world works. If you can find Sam, and show that you are concerned for her... maybe it will help."

The labs, you say?

DC is there, tweaking with something that looks (vaguely) handgun-shaped.

"Hello DC. What you make?" Sunny is very interested.

[The Bushranger]

Dani nods, and leans over to hug Corentin tightly.

Quinn points at a drawer that contains the various potions the infirmary has, handing Misaki a checklist. Can you go through those and check them off on here to see if they're all still there, sweetie?

A moment later she's frowning over Chelonie, then attempts another Lay On Hands.

"I am always at your service, Miss Dani. I hope to present when you and Sam are happily wed." He returned the hug gently.

Misaki goes over to the drawer and begins checking things off, an obedient and thorough little assistant.

[The Bushranger]

You will be, Dani promises, before giving Corentin a quick kiss on the cheek before pulling back and standing.
I'm going to take a swim...



Misaki will discover that the potions...are all there! Whee!
Quinn is stilly Laying Hands on Chelonie.

...not like that!

Chelonie wakes with the Lay On Hands and looks up at Quinn.

[Morgue]

The Shadow vanishes.

Corentin nodded. "Perhaps the exercise will help."

"They're all here, Quinn." Misaki walked up to Quinn, peeking around her a bit to look at Chelonie. "Is she going to be okay?"

[The Labs]

"Hello DC. What you make?" Sunny is very interested.

Er...

DC is obviously unsure of how Sunny would react.

Gun.

Rather hesitantly, really.

[The Bushranger]

I hope so.
Dani gives Corentin a weak, but warm, smile as she heads off to change.



I think so, Quinn says softly to Misaki before smiling at Chelonie. Welcome back to the land of the living, Miss Amakirr. Do you know where you are?

"What 'gun' do?" She doesn't know the word. "Sunny make robot!"

[Infirmary Room 2]

"'Firmary" Chelonie says, her voice groggy. "Astir hurt anyone else?"

[Neon Knight]

Corentin watches her go, smiling as well. Once she is gone he lifts up a hand to touch the place on his cheek that she kissed, then shakes himself and returns to his bitter tea.

Misaki stands back and quietly watches Quinn and Chelonie interact.

"What 'gun' do?" She doesn't know the word. "Sunny make robot!"

DC thinks for a moment. How to put it...?

Show DC robot.

[The Bushranger]

Marley, Quinn confirms. Worse than you, actually. I don't think anybody else was hurt too badly.

She looks up at Misaki. Can you bring me one of the blue potions, sweetie? The one marked CCW?

[Neon Knight]

Misaki nodded and went over to the drawer, finding the potion and double checking to make sure she had the right one before returning and handing it to Quinn.
