Round 9.
Ugly green things shift position. They still have arrows drawn and seem to be waiting for a target to appear.
One of the ugly blubbery things lumbers into the cloudkill. It bumps into the leopard and makes a squealing noise. The ugly green things' heads both snap up.

Re: Test Of Spite Dungeon Direct, Special edition [3.5]
Tina - you can't see the blubbery thing, it's in the obscuring mist. Mist blocks line of sight past 5'. Also remember that firing will break your Hide . . . and how are you getting 2 strength damage on a sneak attack? Isn't crippling strike only 1?
Edit: Oh, and are you currently blinking? If you are, don't forget the 20% miss chance.
Dok - Yes, you can see through the Cloudkill. You can clearly see both ugly green things and the nearest ugly blubbery thing.Last edited by Saph; 2009-07-11 at 10:28 PM.

Re: Test Of Spite Dungeon Direct, Special edition [3.5]
Summon goes off. Dire badger appears. Gets enlarged. Gets squished as you discover there's an invisible wall at L7-L8. Leopard rips the small blubbery thing to pieces. Badger now has enough space to spread out and scratches large chunks out of the ugly green thing.
Right ugly green thing's readied action triggers and it attacks the badger, firing arrows point-blank at it.
Attack 1: (1d20+15)[33]
Damage: (2d6+7)[15]
Attack 2: (1d20+15)[21]
Damage: (2d6+7)[13]
Left ugly green thing's readied action triggers as it sees you, and it attacks you, shooting two arrows. You gain +2 AC due to tree cover.
Attack 1: (1d20+15)[25]
Damage: (2d6+7)[13]
Attack 2: (1d20+15)[17]
Damage: (2d6+7)[19]
Attacks are magic. Oh, and make a Will save for the badger re: the cloudkill.

I'll say you can't hear through it but can see though it. Anyway, it's fairly obvious what Jaya's trying to say and given that you just got shot by one of the archers you were probably about to focus on him in any case.

Re: Test Of Spite Dungeon Direct, Special edition [3.5]
Round 10.
The western ugly green thing glances back and two of the small blubbery things break off from their useless attacks on Jaya's force sphere and run forward to attack the badger instead. Their claws don't do anything, but the ugly green thing draws its bows and unloads five arrows into the badger at point blank range.
Attack 1: (1d20+13)[27]
Damage: (2d6+7)[13]
Attack 2: (1d20+13)[30]
Damage: (2d6+7)[18]
Attack 3: (1d20+13)[27]

Attack 4: (1d20+8)[14]
Damage: (2d6+7)[16]
Attack 5: (1d20+8)[22]
Damage: (2d6+7)[12]
The second one adjusts its position, glaring at Dok, and opens fire on him in the same manner. You gain +2 AC due to tree cover.
Attack 1: (1d20+13)[19]
Damage: (2d6+7)[13]
Attack 2: (1d20+13)[29]
Damage: (2d6+7)[16]

Attack 4: (1d20+8)[28]
Damage: (2d6+7)[12]
Attack 5: (1d20+8)[23]
Damage: (2d6+7)[11]
One more ugly blubbery thing is still scratching at Jaya's sphere, and the last one is still trying to climb over from the other side. (1d20+2)[8]
