Re: The SilverClawShift Campaign Archives
My favorite campaign (also the first that I read) was Crystal Cantrips. I would love to put it into comic book form for all to enjoy. I am, however, lazy and easily distracted. So it'll probably never happen.
Edit: If it does happen, I'll let you know.Last edited by Symmys; 2010-05-15 at 10:36 AM.

Re: The SilverClawShift Campaign Archives
Do we have any idea when the 3rd campaign will be finished? The one with the four cities. I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms 0.o

Re: The SilverClawShift Campaign Archives
SilverclawShift stopped writing that one due to time constraints and said she would it post it when she has time. I may be wrong though.

Re: The SilverClawShift Campaign Archives
I just wish there would be more updates.
I read Crystal Cantrips first, and actually enjoyed it more. Hell, I was reading it while she was still writing it. the suspense may have made it an even better read, even.Demilich avatar by Smuchmuch. Thank you VERY much!

Re: The SilverClawShift Campaign Archives
I think the reason I like them so much is because, in a way, they're like the very best a "Let's Play" can be (or at least, Crystal Cantrips and the Horror Campaign were)
Interesting story, told from an entertaining viewpoint.
Audience discussion and suggestions.
Sidenotes and commentary about the game from the author.
Just... cool stuff.

Re: The SilverClawShift Campaign Archives
Ditto, but with a flash animation rather than a comic. Apart from the fact that it would probably (seriously) take a decade for me to make a halfway-decent one of the stories, it'd probably be pretty awkward trying find people to voice it when I know that somewhere out there SCS or one of her friends would be thinking "I don't sound like that." when they see it.
EDIT: Hey! What about Elagune, the guy who did the Order of the Stick Manga? I bet he could whip up something, seeing as his DA page is full of other comics he drew. Maybe we could get him interested, he did say he was looking for something new...Last edited by Roc Ness; 2010-05-27 at 03:45 AM.

Re: The SilverClawShift Campaign Archives
I finally finishe Crystal Cantrips. It was good, that I have to admit. Although, I still think the Horror Campaign was better. This probably because short stories have more of an impact with me. Anyway wow. Good is good.

Re: The SilverClawShift Campaign Archives
People really love necro-ing this thread. I've counted... 6?.. times that it's been necro'd since SCS stopped updating her most recent campaign journal.
It really should be stickied, in that case. if people are going to keep necroing it, make it so it doesn't move.

It will never die! Its like Dracula... if you try killing it it'll just suck you dry and come back more powerful than before!
Being a pyromaniac has its own benefits... like the added irony when your enemies burn you to death.

Re: The SilverClawShift Campaign Archives
Crystal Cantrips has everything I love in a campaign:
- no macguffin
- simple event leading almost unnoticed to 'save the world' saga
- foreshadowing
- interesting characters
I read it with great joy. Thanks! My personal folder is a graveyard of ideas, stuck in their dream phase. The "DM won't kill us" attitude is a bubble that sometimes needs to be bursted.Avatar courtesy of Linklele

I really want to run the horror campaign now. I'm just afraid that I could never do it justice.
