Sam is pacing around, compulsively checking the message board, querying every drone, and even looking at her phone. She is, of course, waiting for some form of orders that she assumes are part of reshaping GLoG.

Vidalia completely breaks down and begins crying. In fact, after a moment, she curls up and reforms into an onion.

Not that that stops the noise of her crying.

I am. Pudding? Lex holds out the pudding for Quinn to see. It's Vanilla.

Alex looks a little confused, but then decides to give them room, and heads in the direction of the Training Room.

Dani remains asleep, hugging Sam-the-pillow now.

Quinn shakes her head a little. Thank you, but no. Is there anything I can do for you?




And a knock comes on the door.

Hm. It's difficult to comfort an onion. Corentin tries anyway. "Vidalia? It's okay, Vidalia. I know it hurts, but we're here for you. We'll get through this together, okay?"

Tia is completely unsure of what to do. She looks helplessly at Corentin, disregarding her dislike of the man for Vidalia's sake. Vidalia, I'm... I'm so sorry... She stands and takes a few steps back, feeling that Corentin will be able to comfort her more now.

Irene answers the door. Everyone else is probably busy and she's lucky enough to have not yet glanced at the bulletin board.

A tentacle whips out from the onion and tries to ensnare Tia. If successful, it will then attempt to pull Tia in closer to Vidalia and Corentin.

Irene finds BR at the door.

"One second. Who should I say is looking for her?" Irene gets a drone nearby.

...tell her it's Bravo Romeo, the white-haired young-looking man says, almost sheepishly.

Corentin looked to onion Vidalia. "What would help? Do you want to go see him?"

"Sure... fine." Irene sends off the drone.

A drone approaches Sam.

Wait, what? Sam was clearly expecting else from the drone, and glares at it in angry disappointment before stalking off to the front door.

BR waits paitently, having not been invited in.

Seeing Sam approaching, he manages to greet her with a smile, although she'll probably note that he looks...pensive, worried, concerned, and upset.
G'evening, Sam...


[Training Room]

Alex arrives at the Training Room, and seeing Angela, pauses, not sure if she desires her meditation to be interrupted.

Irene has upped security. By not inviting in everyone who comes to the door.

Though once Sam arrives, she sees no reason to stick around, bids the two a good day and goes off to do her own thing.

Depending on how powerful Quinn is, she may see an undercurrent of Lawful Evil barely visible underneath.

BR starts to say something, then pauses, starts again, stops again, then finally exhales and sighs. I...I just wanted to find out why, I guess, he says simply.

Tia nods. I won't leave. Not as long as I can help it.

Sam looks at BR blankly, not understanding. Then her eyes go wide and she gets angry. Bloody hell! You've got to be kidding me, how did you hear that!?

Matt found out, BR says simply, his eyes looking into Sam's.

Meanwhile, there is a curious distortion, a twisting of the air reflecting the similar twisting of the anti-teleport field, as it moves to accommodate Khiansa, who appears directly in the Artifact Vault.

He walks over to the pedestal where the Brightheart used to sit, and examines it, demolishes it, and rebuilds it, this time placing a golden lyre, with strings of silver onto it. He builds another pedestal, and on this one he places two ivory dice.
He steps back, and examines the pedestals, admiring the two artifacts on display, where they may be used by all, or stolen by all. He removes the artifacts from the display, and demolishes the pedestals. He places the dice back in the receptacle on his belt he had made for them, tucks the lyre under his arm, and exits the Vault, heading towards the Great Room.

Observers may notice that he is heavily wounded.

It's a trap, of course. For as Alex touches the fox-girl, he triggers a silent, invisible enchantment. It's the typical "Inhibitions down, attraction up" magic, if that needed to be said. Are you new here?


That bastard! Sam's really seething now. Why? Because I can't bloody well do my damn job if I'm pregnant, now can I? Of course, now that I told Dani about it nobody is actually asking me to do anything, so I'm completely useless!

Maybe you should have talked to people about it first instead of going all boo-hoo I'm so helpless because I'm pregnant, BR says, his dander slowly raising as he speaks. First off, you've hurt people who care about you - who love you. He starts ticking things off on his fingers. Secondly, you've lost respect from people who thought you were strong and rational. Thirdly, you've lost the chance to raise a strong warrior. And fourthly, you make me want to kill myself when I found out!

Sam listens to BR's tirade, a single tear rolling down her cheek. By the time he finishes, her hand is on her gun. But she just leans into his face and whispers. I lied. Then she steps back and tries to slam the door shut.
