Lex takes a moment to float up to Quinn's eye level and straighten her skirt out a bit. I swear upon the love of Neirian, that I will not betray your trust and attack you once you let me out.

Dani, leaning against Sam at the table, looks up in startlement before reluctantly hopping up and going to answer the door.

Eko nearly opens the door. Unfortunately, she wasn't quick enough. Eko is a lizardperson. She's only wearing a belt and bandoleer, armed with a club and javalins. Although not wearing clothes, she has no mammalian ancestry so it can be hard to people to know she's female.

And she goes to unlock the door...



Alex doesn't know what to say either, so he just holds Alexis close and tries to be comforting.

Quinn squeaks in surprise, then goes to hug Lex back with a smile.

Alex blushes and smiles, a little shyly.

I'm not totally sure he did try to corrupt me. That's the problem.

Susan walks down to the detention wing.
"Quinn..." she says. "Lex appears to be out of her cell."

Ah. Alex nods, but looks confused. ...who did, then? He knows there's no way she'd have willingly done it...


Quinn looks around at Susan, and nods. I know. I let her out. We're going to her homeland to fix what happened to her.

While hugging Quinn, Lex will attempt to POP! them to the Queendom of Neirian.

"Yes, I am new. My name is Eko." Her scales are dark browny-red, and she lacks hair. And eyelids, but that's less immediately noticable.

Susan heads back upstairs. She goes straight to the infirmary.
"Yeah, she's just gone somewhere, prepare her bed." She tells the drones.

Alex nods, slowly.
I guess the question is, did he know, or care, that Astir was evil?
