Default Need help with Character for Insanity campaign

Ok couple of thing limiting here.

    1. Must be a base race.
    2. 1st level feats, classes, and spells must come from PHB.
    3. Cleric's follow the minor insanity loss for spell casting, wizards moderate, everything else....major.
    4. When weilding 2 handed weapon you get 1 1/2x to both damage AND attack.
    5. From 2nd level on all 3.5 and alot of non-updated 3.0 source books are allowed but dragon magazine is out.

    Campaign Starts at level 1

25 point stat buy. Max starting stat of 18 before racial mods. All stats start at 10. Can be lowered to 8 to gain 2 points.

A high wisdom is HIGHLY preferable do to sanity checks.

Any question just ask. Campaign doesnt start for likely a month so plently of time to plan this out.

Go with a paladin! You can't go wrong with a human, though other races are workable. Take it to 5th level, then go into a prestige class. You want to be an ubercharger, since the houserule for 2-handed weapons makes that an even more effective choice than it normally is. Take the Charging Smite alternate class feature rather than the special mount at 5th level. Use a greatsword and/or a lance. Use the spell Rhino's Rush to increase your damage on charges even further.

    EDIT:

    Stats:
    STR 16
    DEX 8
    CON 14
    INT 8
    WIS 14
    CHA 11

Starting feats: Power Attack, Improved Bull Rush.
Later get Shock Trooper and other charging-related feats.
