Quinn nods as the meddrones finish with Butler and relay their information to her. Butler, you're free to go. Just...try not to touch people if they don't touch you first, alright? She sighs and looks at DC. I'm a little tired for invasive mental procedures tonight, but I can pencil you in for tomorrow...

Butler heads to the Rose Garden to look for Vidalia, since that's where he saw her last.

Quinn nods back, then heads to her room with a yawn.

Somehow, a fox got into Quinn's room.

Quinn closes the door and starts to undress...then notices the fox.
Eep! Well, hello there...

Tobias turns back, and lies on the bed, smirking. Please, don't stop on my account. Hey, sweetie, my usual bed is... used for some reason... Do you mind if I spend the night here?

Used? Eww. Quinn giggles - and then resumes her undressing. Why on earth would I mind a bit, Tobias? I only mind when you're not here. And Misaki isn't sleeping here tonight, soooo...
Giggling, Quinn eyes her pajamas, then chooses to eschew them and goes to climb into bed.

Tobias watches her finish, his eyes lovingly looking at every inch of her body, and then scoots over to let her lie down next to him. I'm touched...

Quinn makes sure he gets a good chance to do that admiring before slipping under the covers, and, grinning, she goes to run a finger across his chin. Yes. Yes you are.

Tobias smirks back at her, then throws his beat up fedora on the floor. Somehow, that ennabled him to instantly undress. Poor baby, you must be so lonely... Do you want me to show you how much I love you?

Quinn looks a little startled at the instastrip trick, then grins and nods eagerly. I'd totally love that, my dear Tobias. She winks at him and flutters her eyelashes...

I... don't believe it. They should hate me.

[FireFox]

You're only with me because you're desperate. Tobias rolls on top of her and tries to kiss her deeply, one hand running down her side.

If that's so I hope I'm always desperate.
Quinn grins up at him as he rolls on top of her, and wraps her arms around his neck, shivering at his touch as she returns the kiss just as deeply and hungrily.

And the curtain falls, and I depart for bed.

After some more wandering, Tia returns to her room. She closes the door but doesn't lock it. After undressing, she climbs into her bed and curls up under the blankets, crying herself to sleep.

Wait, who's that at Tia's door? It's your friendly neighborhood Marcos! He cuddles up against her, to comfort her, as if he knew something was wrong. Sixth sense...weird. Shhh...

Meanwhile, Phoenix is in the gazebo, playing a tune. Yay. Or not yay. He's not looking well. At all. I think he should be in bed or something.

Butler undeadtimes in the Rose Garden. He grabs Decker's feather cloak. She... she must've thought he was dead too. And if she left her cloak then she must've gone somewhere. To her home in Hell probably. He'd have to follow as soon as possible and let her know everything is alright. How was the question...

He puts on the feather cloak. He'll just have to wear this in the meantime while he thinks.

Oh. But there's sounds. Irene would be sent, but there's various reasons why she shouldn't.

Several security drones pop with her, netting her, stunning her, electrocuting her, sapping her, shooting her, and kicking her, before dragging her off to a cell. Yay.
Damn inefficient drones.


Phoenix looks up. This would be the part where he continues playing and the player inserts several moods that appropriately sum up the last few pages, but he's too tired to. In fact, he deadtimes for dinner. Well howabout that.

Irene glares at Kid Kris. A horrible hideous death glare that burns through the back of his head as he walks away from the computer.

Then falls into deadtime as she waits for Phoenix to say something.

Irene promptly receives a rude hand sign from Kid Kris as soon as he returns to the computer, belly filled foods.

"Hello Irene, how are you feeling?"
Fine, probably. Unlike you. Now get some fluids and get going to bed you!
Oh. And Irene probably won't notice that there's something different about the way he speaks to her. Besides the obvious fatigue.

Alone in her room, Cynthia remains asleep. She's doing well, really. And will likely stay holed up in there, for a while.

Czernov, having been working in his lab for quite some time, is finally finished, and a prototype of his desgin is complete. Fabulous! Looking pleased, and really rather happy for once, he strides out of his lab, and walks, labcoat billowing, all mysterious-like, out behind him, to post something on the bulletin board, before vanishing out the front door, after a drone hands him the bag he's prepared for himself.

Amelia quietly expires in her cell. Her corpse is now godmoddable. Poor corpse.

Vorka's not here. How odd.

He gestures at the artifacts.
"New equipment? I didn't know you were becoming a bard. Or taking up gambling, apparently."

"I don't know how to play the Lyre. Unless you were talking about gambling, in which case I know several tricks and cons you might use if you were getting desperate."
