Valdin's voice turn deep and stern.
Those swords, are sacred. 9/10 Sangheili's that join Vadam's Army never even get the chance to hold a sword and its because of their power and honor that they bring to its holder.
Valdin pulls out his sword which is turned off, so technically he's only holding the hilt which has custom curved spikes on it. He looks at it for several second then looks at Susan wildly and carelessly. He activates his swords and locks it in between Susan's two prong blades, not allowing her to swing it anymore.
You may not have grown up learning under the Vadam honor system, but please accept my word of wisdom. The next time you activate that, sword make sure that it is drenched in the blood of your enemies. Not just for your sake of living, but for your allies, you lineage, and everything you hold dear.
Valdin stares at her with his piercing amber eyes, then deactivates his sword.

Oh. Dani giggles. Well, I like big things! She blushes and giggles some more. So! What made you decide to come here?

Susan ceases waving.
"Will do." She says, as she deactivates it, and pockets it.

Well, I heard about this place, and thought that having potential support would be good. Also, this place apparently has a really good library.

Lowan watches the scene between Susan and Valdin and grabs his shoulder as he turns around.
I think now would be a good time to head back.
Lowan turns to Susan and anyone else still present.

Lowan and Starly walk back through the GLOG/HALO Portal.
Valdin follow but stops briefly looking down at the ground still stained by the purple blood of elites. He kneels down in honor briefly.

He salutes and also departs through the portal.

"Goodbye." Says Susan. She grabs a needler from the armory as well, then goes to the notice board.

Susan heads into the infirmary after posting the note to check on Quinn.

Dani nods. Yeah. A lot has been going on and I'm worried about Sammie and a friend of mine has been kidnapped...

Dani trails off as, typically for her, her mind switches gears.
You know, there was something I needed to find out in the library, I think. Gotta run, it was nice meeting you!
She grins at Ryuan, then -

She vanishes from the kitchen!

Reappearing in the library!

Where she ponders for a bit what to do about what the dragon's library comment made her think of.
Then decides to quickly scratch out a salt circle.
And chants Histor's name three times.













Meanwhile, in the Infirmary, Susan will find, that unconsious Quinn is still unconsious.

The ethereal form of a robed man appears before Dani, slowly fading in. What is it that you think you're doing...?

Huh. Don't mind me, I'm just trying to reverse-engineer the spell that was used to capture Alexis, because it did look like a handy spell when you want to capture, not kill.

He sits down and starts scribbling on a piece of paper.

Quinn's vitals are stable, except for her mind. Seems she thwacked her head hard enough to comatise her...

No, I'm just the cleric in charge here. Why do you need to talk to my God? The form of the man is putting on his best "I'm-important-no-really" look.

Ryuan looks very interested at Histor's cleric. Well, that's interesting.

Erm. Well, Dani tilts her head. I need to talk to him about somebody he kinda did a favor for or something like that I think? Named Sam - er, Samantha Goswell? I'd really appreciate it! It's really important!

Of history, duh! Dani says sotto voce to Ryuan before performing a curtsey to the god himself.
Er, thanks for seeing me! I kinda wanted to talk to you about Sammie. Erm, well, I'm kinda married to her now, you see, and from what I heard she's kinda pledged to you or something, right? Well, I want to... She takes a deep breath, and looks up, her eyes almost looking a little moist. I...I wanna make sure we go to the same place, when I...die.

Histor, falling under the classification of being a Greater God, has the tendency to completely ignore whatever mortal he's not interested in talking to right now.
Is that so? How interesting. Well, should you give me domain over your soul, I'm sure I can send the two of you to the same afterlife.

Dani seems to be a little nervous at that.
