Just so you guys know, I'm going to have to cut GitP back from now on.

Possible leaving entirely, depending on whether I can convince mum or not.

Alright. I do hope you can stay on, or at least come back. You're good to have around.

I've found myself constantly frustrated by the inane nature of the topics here and the typical internet over-analysis culture. I feel that during my time here I've grown but the forums have stayed constant.

When I first joined I made a friend here who became one of my closest friends in real life. In the subsequent years nothing like that has happened again. And I don't believe it will.

I am very disappointed in all of you.

But then again, I know how honoured you should all be to have me posting on these forums, that's because I know how awesome I am. And it seems that I've been unable to get that message across to you guys. So I guess that part is my fault.

So, see you 'round, I guess.

I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t know you very well myself, but you add a lot to the forums. I hope you can stay in the future.

I don’t really think that a disagreement with a random 15-year-old over the web, or the locking of a thread is cause for leaving a forum this well-kept in general entirely. Though there are more reasons, I’m sure, that are going completely over my head because I wasn't there for them, so that was likely just the icing on the cake.

I’m sorry that you decided to leave. I didn’t know you, and I’m sorry to hear that things didn’t go so well for you here as of late. But it sounds like you at least had some good experiences here a few years ago, so I’m glad to hear that.

Narcissism that may or may not be a joke aside, I genuinely hope for the best for you. Good luck, with life and all.

'Twould be a lot easier to be sad to see you go if you didn't kick me on the way out.

As for inanity of topics, I can have some agreement with that. I don't read 90% of the "newly updated" threads with any regularity. But, I think about a 10/90 meat/inanity ratio is actually pretty good for a web forum.

It's true that at certain times (it's summer vacation in the Northern Hemisphere), this forum can get a bit... different. There will be a certain influx of a particular type of poster that might be less than pleasant to be around. But overall I think the average long-term poster here is a cut above the rest of the internet. Maybe you think you're above even that, and so you can't be with us. If so, fine.

I will point out that of the discussions I've seen be publicly "about you," almost all have been civil. Good discussion of naturism last year, and of course good advice (about 3 pages worth) in the RW&A thread.

But with that attitude, I'm not sure why I'm so keen to have you back.
I am continuing to have a social life. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Starting on Saturnday, I'll be on vacation, too, for two weeks. I'm going on a trip in America. I don't expect to be completely without Internet, as most of the hotels will have wi-fi access, but just in case, see you all soon!
