Goodbye, So Long, Farewell II

*off in the distance a small cloud can be seen. It's dirty and grey and very low to the ground and appears to be getting bigger and bigger as it draws nearer. Suddenly a large wind whips up and the cloud is blown away, revealing a rather ragged looking troglodyte puffing on a Coffin Nail™ brand cigarette.*

So... er... Trog's back.

Trog has spent the last... *glances back over his shoulder and checks the non-existent watch on his wrist* eleven days (this absence goes up to 11) or so off in the land of other forums.

Newsflash: There's trolls out there, kids. Seriously, Trog wouldn't recommend visiting if you are faint of heart, or have an allergy to uh... ranting.. or uh... angst and bitterness. Or excessive flaming and swearing. Or gruff billy goats. Bad scene.

On the other hand there's like... porn galore.

Oh, and something about some girls and a uh... cup... which the less you know about the better, really.

Aaaanyhoo, sore and tired arms and uh... cups... aside, there was a "goodbye" thread and a "welcome new members" thread but not a "Trog's back because there's shiny new rules which Trog approves of (yaaaay!) and this is the only place on earth which seems to sell Coffin Nails™ to a troglodyte who left his I.D. in his other vest which was left back here anyway so hey Trog's back" thread.

Would have thought that would have come up more often.

Trog'd like to say Trog spent Trog's time sitting under a tree until Trog became all smart or something but no one's gonna believe that in a million years.

Besides, the guy behind the curtain near the tree decided, instead of the diploma, to give Trog this rather kick ass clock shaped like a heart. *examines ticking heart-clock*

*looks up*

Better than a brain a jar if you ask Trog. Or a lion skin rug emblazoned with the word "courage" on it. Which struck Trog as being the sort of fate one would get for that sort of behavior, really.

*puffs on cigarette and glances back over shoulder nervously*

Now... er... if you'll excuse Trog, Trog also came back here to hide from the heartless, axe-wielding tin automaton that has been chasing Trog for the last day and a half. *jerks thumb over shoulder pointing in the direction he just came from* Toodles.

I guess this is goodbye for real this time. Most who know me likely already knew of my planned-to-be-temporary absence.

The more I thought about things, though, the more it seemed like I should make this permanent.

In the end, I just worry too much about things here, and I've felt...freer, I guess, since I started that hiatus. Besides running all that stuff I have in FFRP, I've never really been able to shake the feeling that multiple people there have strongly negative opinions of me, no matter how many times I'm told otherwise. I'm always worrying about grudges, too.

Doing much of anything just feels like a chore now.

I've decided that being around here isn't worth that constant worry. To those who'll actually miss me, I'll miss you too.

Goodbye. I might come back someday, but it won't be soon, I think. If I do...well.

Sorry if I've messed everything up again. I hope most of you will understand. I wish I could do this more personally, but...if I tried that I think I wouldn't manage to go through with this.

I've always been too attached like that. I barely managed to post this as it is. It's been sitting here on my screen for a while.
