Greg frowns. "Surveillance is going to be very difficult without that equipment." Greg thought for a second. "What if I linked my systems to GLoG's security net?"

Quick Statement: Nevermind. You've been approved. Somehow.

Greg grins. "Groovy. Can I borrow a vehicle?"

Statement: We have all manner of four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles in the roof garage. You may borrow one. The Covenant tank and the Prometheus Securities safe-car are restricted.
The Drone shows him the garage.

Greg just needs an ATV to help him get around.

Throughout the day, Greg will begin to blanket the area and terrain around GLoG with remote security systems. UAVs, sensor nodes, light turrets, the works. He'll try to hit all the important landmarks and covers as much ground around the base as he can.

Most of this stuff he pulls out of his magic pink Hello Kitty backpack.

Messages are waiting for them when they emerge from deadtime.

Advisory: Your child was found playing with matches.
Further advisory: He has been placed in detention for his own safety.
Gentle Chiding: Please do not allow him to wander unsupervised.

Judy wakes up in the infirmary. She sees the note and frowns.

She goes looking for Rocky.

Not for long, though. Do stuff quickly.

This is evidenced by a man appearing just in front of the front doors. He opens them, and walks in as if he were a member.



Which, of course, he is.

Greetings: Hello, Daisuke Hayashi!

Welcome home!

It's only a stopover, seeing how everyone is doing.

He walks up to the noticeboard, first thing, and grimaces. "Mia". Nice one. Her real name is Karuka Kurosawa.

Then he sees the bit about Cal. Him? Wait, Irene?

Oh, no...

Greg is inside when Daisuke appears, and goes over to him, having overheard the Miia bit. "You know her?"

She wants revenge on me. And her method of getting revenge is to hurt everyone the person cares about.

If she's here, I'd advise Dani and Sam to watch out.

What's she done apart from this?

"She's done at least one kidnapping, maybe more. I know I was hired in direct response to one kidnapping she did." Greg extended a hand, offering it to shake. "Name's Greg. I'm trying to catch her. Got any tips?"

She can use a form of high-speed movement called shunpo, which will make any attempt to catch her very tricky unless you can use shunpo as well. It also makes it tricky to defend against her.

Greg thought for a second. "Do ambushes still work? Can she be caught off guard? How good are her senses? Is she impulsive? Cautious?"

Oh look. DC's up and headed for the door.

...someone might want to question why he's carrying the ion cannon as he goes.

Also because the reason he's going is relevant to the current conversation.

Daisuke looks at DC. Who did Karuka kidnap?

And why the big gun?

I alert you that horngeek must go to school soon. He may or may not be able to get to a library computer before it actually starts.

Greg also looks to DC.

Someone very close to me. And... I know where she is. Follow me.

Karuka will go for me. She hates me that much. That may well save that person's life.

Daisuke will go along with DC. But he deadtimes now.

Greg nods. "I'm with you." He would get payed for helping GLoG members retrieve the page, and it would be easier than doing it by himself.

DC will head out of the base and lead Daisuke and Greg to Karuka's hideout.

Charity returns to GLoG to check on her sister.

Rocky stomps about his cell, imitating the growl of an agitated Grey Render as best as he can with 3 year old lungs.

She might see Lake, wandering, looking confused, and not very happy, and even more dazed than ever.

"What's wrong?" Charity asks Lake, in a gentle tone. Poor guy, getting zapped with the same thing her sister did. Maybe once Magtok has the antidote, there will be enough left over for him.

Do you know who I am? Lake asks her, his voice lucid, his accent different from before. Hard to place, still, but different.

"No. I'm sorry, I just met you yesterday." she says regretfully.

But where am I? He asks, worried. His voice is fitting to his age, now, too.

"You're in a place called GLoG." Charity tries to take his hands in hers and sit down on the sofa with him. "Where do you want to be?"

[Kaelaroth]

His eyes, clearer than the last time she saw him, are a piercing blue-green - eyes that study her, carefully, as he ignores her question. Why do I feel so odd? Why am I here?
Someone can be heard walking towards the pair, now.
