GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction

[Morty]

I see. Well, could you- Wenomir falls silent as he sees Phoenix.

[Neon Knight]

Corentin looks over Wenomir's shoulder. "Hello, Mr. Phoenix. Are you alright?"

[Thanatos 51-50]

Ivan flies over to the front door, as that's apparently where everything is happeneing at the moment, and hovers just off-center of the cone of visibility, observing the goings-on.

[Morty]

Seeing that Phoenix deadtimed, Wenomir adresses Corentin again. Could you tell me who might know more, then?

[Neon Knight]

Corentin considered the question for a moment. "The President or Vice-President might know more, but I have not seen them recently. Other than that, I can think of no one."

But just then, Happy and her MagChair hover into view. "Wenomir! It's so good to see you again!"

[Morty]

Wenomir brightens up a bit when he sees Happy, of whom he still thinks as Chelonie.
It's good to see you too, Mrs. Amakirr. I was hoping somone would tell me what's been going on lately..?

Corentin steps aside, glancing at Ivan.

[Thanatos 51-50]

Ivan lands gently on the floor, grins, and snaps a very informal salute at Corentin.
"Hey there." he says brightly.

[Neon Knight]

"Hello. Corentin Apollinaire, at your service." He offers a hand to shake.

[Ashen Lilies]

((Erk! Was distracted.))

"Hello Wenomir, Corentin. A vampire and a banshee kidnapped Yasmin at the Taverna. Tried to stop them. It didn't go so well."
He doesn't look too well either.

"Ivan Ogoc." Ivan replies. "I'm likewise at your service, which I'm afraid puts us in a wierd, recursive loop." he grins at his own joke before the repot of a kidnapping reaches his ears.
He reaches over and thumbs the imaginary button where his chest armour would be and the Avatar deploys.
"Any leads as to their location?"

[happyturtle]

"Melody is alive again," she says, with a big smile. "I'm not sure about anything else. I haven't been out of the infirmary long. You're welcome to come in and look over the bulletin board or the security centre if you'd like."

But then she hears Phoenix's news, and falls silent.

[Morty]

Wenomir is confused. Sure, it's logical that Chelonie would be happy about Melody's comeback, but if it was Alek who brought her back... then he hears Phoenix's news.
Damn. Where did they take her?

[Neon Knight]

Corentin frowns. "Bad news indeed. Miss Irene is gone, as is Miss Scarlet... Alexis is imprisoned, and now this! It never ends..."

[Ashen Lilies]

"I don't know where they went.
...
Dammit. Should have asked Tratos to track them. Maybe he'll have done it anyway."
He enters the base, and several med-drones fly out of the infirmary and surround him like a swarm particularly maternal bees.

[Morty]

Looks like I decided to drop by just in time. I tried to taunt Alek to fight me, but it didn't go very well, Wenomir says to Chelonie.

[Thanatos 51-50]

"Any information is better than no information. Extrapolation, anything." Ivan presses the man delivering the news.

[Ashen Lilies]

"They just walked in, waited a bit, and then punched her when she came along. There was some banter, but I couldn't hear what was said from that distance. Then when I tried to interfere the banshee threw a table at me. I... can't remember much after that. I might have asked Tratos to track them. I can't remember..."
Phoenix is all dejected and helpless looking.

"We'll deal with him. Somehow. The important thing is that Melody is home safe," Chelonie says. "Phoenix, you need to get to the infirmary. If any of the rest of you are going after Yasmin, you can take some security drones with you."

[Morty]

Who's Tratos?

[Ashen Lilies]

"Friend of mine. Minotaur. Works at the Taverna."
And then he's whisked away by drones, never to be seen again.

[Thanatos 51-50]

"Good question," Ivan intones.
"I'd like to perform a rescue, but I need people with me who know the lay of the land, because, quite frankly, I don't."

[Morty]

Right then, I'll come along.

[Neon Knight]

Corentin considered it for a moment. "There is little I can do against undead. I would come with you, but I am afraid I would be of little use, and I might be needed here."

[Dirk Kris]

A familiar - not to these guys, but still - ferret noses his way into GLoG. He looks around for a minute, then makes his way towards the the sounds of voices.

[Thanatos 51-50]

"Well, since you knnow the way - we should probably head for the 'Taverna', whatever that is, and speak to this Tratos." Ivan suggests, and flies over to Wenomir, "I can fly pretty fast. Point and I'll carry you there."

[Morty]

It's that way. Wenomir points in Taverna's direction. It should be noted that he's heavy.

The ferret hears their intended location and makes his way out...

Ivan hooks his arms to carry Wenomir and locks the arm armour in place before commencing flight over to the Taverna.
