Dani gets the note from the drone - and makes her way promptly to the Detention Wing.


Brendan undeadtimes, still on a couch in the Great Room.

Sunny and IZK-α come into the greatroom. "Hello!" Sunny says cheerfully to Brendan, on her way to the kitchen for noms.

Brendan looks up from studying the layout of the building, and brightens a bit at Sunny's cheeful greeting. Hi there, yourself. He smiles broadly. I'm new here, I'm Brendan. Who are you?

[Quinsar]

On her way o the detention zone; someone pokes Dani's shoulder.

"My name is Sunny. And this is IZK-α. Do you like robots?" Sunny says cheerfully.

It's nice to meet you, Sunny. Brendan smiles, and nods. I guess you could say I do, seeing as I sell parts people can use in them.




Dani spins around.

The little ferret who seems to be a perma-guest enters the base, sniffing around curiously.

Sunny smiles broadly. "Really? Do you have the servo-bearings for fine joint manipulation?"

Charity leans over from behind the sofa where Brendan's sitting. "Just to warn you... she's brain damaged."

Sunny sees Charity and takes a step back, behind IZK-α.

"Oh, knock it off. I'm not going to hurt you," Charity grumbles.

Libra undeadtimes to see le ferret.
Hey, there you are.

[Kaelaroth]

Libra and Meridian may see a hooded figure walking towards them, his features further shrouded by magickal darkness.

Brendan raises an eyebrow. Well, I'm not sure, we're just getting started and haven't got inventory...

Then Charity speaks up, and Brendan, not having heard her approaching, jumps.
Don't sneak up on me like that!

Libra looks up to see Hoodie McDefinitelyNotPalpatine. Er, the dude with the hood.

Greetings. A hand-wave initiates a fast alignment scan spell on her, and any auras on her.

Charity shrugs. "Wasn't trying to be sneaky. I just don't like wearing shoes."

Sunny looks at Charity warily, but decides to stand her ground. "You won't eat me!" she insists. "IZK-α will protect me!"

Charity flops over the back of the couch and sinks into the cushions, making herself comfortable. And rolls her eyes. "See what I mean?" she says to Brendan. "You're right, Aurora. Your robot has convinced me not to try and eat you. You're safe from me."

[Beans]

Libra shows up as neutral good. Her locket has a benevolent aura, one allowing her to step on holy ground with impunity.

Vorka nods to her, and deadtimes, as he floats away.

Brendan manages to catch his breath after a few moments.
It's probably a good thing he doesn't have a weak heart.

That's sad. He shakes his head. I take it you know her? I'm Brendan, by the way. He gives Charity a smile.

Dani spins around.

And Sam is behind Mint, holding the barrel of her Glock to the devil's head. Hullo. Hands up, please, and no sudden movements.

"My sister. She doesn't remember me though." Charity says. She pulls out her sketchpad and starts sketching a vase of flowers on the piano. "I'm Charity Lapham, and that's Aurora."

"I'm Sunny!" she insists.

[Beans]

Libra decides to head somewhere else; she sees Sunny and begins walking over.

Dani's eyes widen, and she looks between "Mint" and Sam.
Errrr...

She looks totally lost as for what to say.




Brendan Drake, Brendan repeats, realising he forgot to mention his last name before. It's a pleasure to meet both of you. He smiles, and looks between the two of them for a moment. So she lost her memory? I thought they had magic for that...

"Not just her memory. From what I've been told, it wiped her intelligence completely. Left her with the mind of an animal." Charity says.

"Don't talk about me like that!" Sunny says, stamping her foot. "It took my knowings, but I'm not stupid! I can still think!" Glaring at her sister, she doesn't see that Libra is walking up to them.

Hi, Sunny---er, sorry, is this a bad time?
She winces, realizing she's blundered into a bit of a conflict.

Brendan gives Libra a nod in greeting, smiling at Sunny.
Of course you can, he says reassuringly. You just need time to recover, right?

A drone floats about, blissfully unaware of conflict, offering medium-grade pie!

Libra smiles nervously back at him, hoping frantically that she isn't totally screwed right now.

"Hi Libra," Sunny says. "This is Brendan. Brendan, this is Libra." She pointedly does not introduce her sister.

Charity rolls her eyes. "And I'm Charity." Then... "Ooh, pie?"
