Mister Casto is in the plot, he's not Anthro, neither is Captain Manpower. Provided Anthro means what i think it is.

Antho is basically people with animal genes or parts showing...
Catgirls are Anthro's as they have cat ears and tail...
you could go up to Full feral animals if you wanted or down to whatever...

@Mad: Lack of knowledge of the origin of words leads to the abbreviation sometimes meaning something completely different (Anthro is most of the time heard in the word anthropomorphic so people associate them with each other)

Alright, the Crewsprites

Crewsprites are created when a ship is lost, the wreckage from the ship and the spirits from the crew may combine to form one or more entities. They have few, if any, memories from their past lives, though they do have an instinctive love of the sea, and the know a good deal about the ship they once were.

When the ship Kaysto's Green was lost with all hands, two crewsprites were born. Bow Kaysto and Stern Kaysto (from the different parts of the ship that they were built out of). Bow Kaysto is a skilled Helmsman, while Stern serves as a Navigator, a talent she picked up considering that part of her body is made up of old maps and charts.

Yes, I suppose. However, they are no more human than, say, a dragon. Calling them 'mancats' or anything like that will get you killed.
