Moathouse: Planting 8/9, Somwhere ‘Round Midnight

    Round 1 (cont.)
After scorching the cleric, Megiddo brings his light to where his allies can benefit.

The light is not enough to keep Grigor’s attack from glancing off the creature’s armor. However, the light does aid Tell’s aim and as one of his chain’s heavy links strike the cleric in the head and the creature collapses.

    Round 2
As the scaled cleric hits the floor, his compatriot arrives around the corner. “Yeah, yeah, I’m co—$#*%! Upon seeing what has happened he ducks back around the corner and, from the sounds of things, either babbles something in a strange language or casts a spell.

From my position I believe my target has cover (+4 AC).

I believe the man has a light source of his own? In which case I am good to go, or if Meg moves up before my turn then I'm fine too.

    Attack:

Note that I have 10' reach and will also roll an AoO just in case he does something to provoke it after I strike him:

    Grigor, human cleric

Grigor watches the fight, seeing that he can't do much good with his bow at the moment.

But then the enemy casts a spell or chants a prayer (hard to make out) and Tell suddenly freezes up.

Fortunately, Megiddo rushes up to Tell's aid. And so Grigor himself decides to move southwards, placing himself between Megiddo and Tell for now and drawing his sword as he does so. He keeps his bow in his left hand for now.

    Round 4 (cont.)
Megiddo’s attack is a little clumsy and easily dodged.

Grigor spends a moment trying to refocus on what’s going on.

Tell steps forward to attack. Tell feels some resistance and there is a flicker of light around his chain that seems to divert it so it bounces harmlessly off the cleric’s armor.

    Grigor, human cleric

Not quite sure about how he could be most helpful, Grigor just stows his bow and grabs his sword with both hands, stepping up beside Tell, keeping himseld ready should the enemy cleric move.

At least he can try and cut him of should he try to flee. But in his currently unarmoured state he is reluctant to close into melee...

Move just south of Tell, ready and attack if the cleric moves up.

Moathouse: Planting 8/9, Somwhere ‘Round Midnight

    Round 5 (cont.)
Grigor steps to where he can offer support to Tell.

Tell moves to a position where it makes it difficult for the cleric to watch both Tell and Megiddo. Taking advantage of the distraction, Tell is able to strike the cleric in the head with his chain. The cleric falls to the ground and stops moving.

    Tell

Remembering the last time they tried to interrogate one of these would-be "clerics" Tell decides he has not had enough sleep to deal with this fellow.

He wraps his chain around the man's neck and gives a yank to snap it.

    Coup de Grace

    bane damage - (2d6)[12]

If that doesn't kill him, he must make a DC 34 fort save or die instantly.

Megiddo will hold up his hand to stop Tell, take a few steps back, and then nod for him to proceed.

Tell looks a bit surprised, and then smiles with a silent chuckle when Megiddo stands clear and gives the signal.
