Acutally, the way souls work in my world, I'll already be a crying infant somwhere in the Mortal World. Good luck raising that.

He grins. Souls are sent on, live in Soul Society, and are reborn into new life again. It's a constant cycle.

Sunny's machine empathy would not be in the files, as so far no one but Runner has picked up on it. But it is noted that she was an engineering student and MagIntern before her mind was wiped.

Fern narrows her eyes at Raril. I can't tell when people are lying, but I can tell when they are a bad person. And Mr. Blur keeps becoming one. I don't trust him when he is bad. Though he isn't so bad when he's being nice. Ooh! I bet I could make a plant that will tie him up when he's being all evil and rawr!

Huh. That's different than what I'm used to. Quinn leans back against an infirmary bed and crosses her arms. In most worlds souls go on to reward, torment, or limbo - presuming they're not captured or destroyed, of course...
She winces a little, remembering a few occasions where she encountered that.

In our world, there are two possible things that can happen after death.

All souls right after death are what are known as Pluses. The first job of Shinigami is to send them on to Soul Society. Some, who have had regrets of some sort in life, do not. They are corrupted, and become Hollows.

These Hollows try to eat other souls in order to ease their pain, turning those souls into Hollows themselves. The second job of the Shinigami is to purify Hollows of sins commited as Hollows, allowing them to move on.

"It says you're a bright young girl, especially when it comes to machines, and you have some issues with your memory." Ivan says, trying to figure out a way to deliver the information in the file delicatly. He figures that it's the best he can do and stops there.

"My father liked robots." Ivan says, patting the Avatar (which is still in backpack form). "He built this and taught me how to use it. I like helping people, and this makes it possible."

"Is that a robot? Can I see it?" Sunny asks, with all the happy tension of a child wanting to go into the toy shop.

Sipping his tea, Brendan smiles and watches quietly, considering eating a pop-tart, before his player smacks him for forgetting HALO has the monopoly on those.

Quinn steps back and smiles. And I'll take care of her while you're gone, too.
