DC sighs. Like I said, it'll be useful in other things. Think of it this way. A simple wire doesn't do much until you put it into something, does it?

Ivan will instead look for somebody else in charge (Like DC).

Upon locating DC in the labs, he will head there and toss the file at him whilst saying "Catch."

The file hits the sleepy psychic in the face.

"Sorry, thought you were paying attention." he says by way of apology before advancing. "That's the personell file of Alexander Wright. He departed on a mission, didn't come back. Any idea what happened?"

DC thinks. The file to the face woke him up a little. He went on a mission to destroy a lich's phylactery tower, full well knowing he would die if he succeeded. It's probably impossible to get him back unless you have something very powerful to break the dimensional boundary of that place. The saddest part of it all, really, is that it was ultimately futile.

"So, we could theoretically get him and whoever went with him back from where they're stuck if we could work on something powerful enough magically or tecnologiccally to prybar the barrier open long enough to go in and go fishing?" he reasons through before pausing.
"Wait - futile how?"

Futile as in the lich came back anyway. In any case, I know that barrier can be broken-but only if you have an absurd amount of power to do it.

Then he blinks, looking down at the crystal, remembering how he created it...

DC starts to float (!) off to the vaults.

Ivan activates his power armour and flies after him, staying a good distance away so as to not disrupt the psionics.
"Mind filling me in?"

Sunny, who had been listening and following, jumps in surprise. "Darkcomet fall down go boom! IZK-alpha, take him to the infirmary!"

DC can be taken to the infirmary and stuff, where the med drones will report a case of sleep deprivation.

Again, using psychic abilities did not help.

Sunny goes to the front door and uses the newly installed camera talky thingy. Because it's technology and she likes technology.

"Hello?"

A figure bundled for the cold weather over most of ACRO stands in front of the door. The face under the winter hood is young and feminine, with pale skin. "Hello. I intend to join GLoG. May I please come in?"

"Okay."

Sunny opens the door, but stays behind it until the figure is entered, then immediately closes and locks it, then looks at some of the snow on the person's coat with alarm. "You bring the outside in with you?"

"I do seem to be tracking something in. I apologize." The figure starts to take off some of the heavier articles of clothing.

She's a young woman, very young, maybe not even twenty yet. Her build tends towards the thin and delicate. Long black hair, eyes of a light, almost teal shad eof blue typically referred to as icy. Gait and mannerisms are polite, poised, and carefully controlled. Under the more sensible clothing, she wears a simple blouse, and a pleated skirt of a length suiting modesty. A belt around her waist hold up some pouches, a holstered pistol, and a small blade.

"My name is Cierra."

Ivan makes sure DC gets some sleep, and, hanging on the edge of his words, follows Sunny towards the front door.
When the woman walks in he hands her a membership application and pushes a button to summon Nondescript Drone.
"Welcome to GLoG. I'm Ivan Ogoc."

Sunny picks up some of the snow, only to have it melt in her hands. "It's cold. And Outside is covered with it. What is it?" Seems she's forgotten her manners after seeing the weird white stuff everywhere.

"I know a member in Good Standing left the base soon afterwards, presumably to deal with the project, beyond that - I'm working on a project of my own. Not sure about the snow, personally. The Avatar is pretty warm." he soliloquies.

Cierra contemplates this. "Is there anything I could consult to get better acquainted with the current situation? Reports, an archive, a database, a library, something like that?"

"GLoG does, indeed, have a database." Ivan rattles off a quick set of sketchy directions.
"I can lead you there if you want."

Sunny gets the feeling that the 'grownups' are talking and she should stay quiet.

"I would appreciate that." Cierra nodded and moved to follow Ivan.

"You want to follow, Sunny?" Ivan asks. as he turns around and heads towards the databasae.

Cierra looked to Ivan. "Do you think I could be provided with certain materials? A laptop would be useful, for instance. I intend to get to work fairly quickly."
