Eko the lizardperson is in the Great Room. She is wearing a belt and bandoleer; Vidalia's Onion has yet to persuede her to wear clothing. Her anatomy does ensure that clothing isn't needed for modesty, and it can be hard to tell that she is female. Possible, but only for people with some knowledge on the subject. Her scales are brown and match her irises.

Well, I'd offer to cook, but I'm no good at it. Brendan chuckles self-consiously and points to the plate of blackened toast from earlier.

Trust him about that! Don't eat his food!

Misaki looks at Charmain, waiting for her to begin talking.

It is about that Butler fellow. I fear he is... Not all that he seems.

"She is my enemy. I came here to hide, and now she has come. But you... You reek of the other side. It drew her to you, and from you to me. I will not be struck down again by the pink one. But she does not suspect yet. I made her think it was you she felt when she saw me. Made her think that you are the one to beware. Do not tell her I am here. Or I will EAT you." The water grows more turbulent. Thankfully, the voice did an excellent job of explaining things clearly. *nods*

Sunny takes a yellow bell pepper out of the fridge, and begins eating it like an apple. "That's okay. I have food."

"I won't say anything sir." Though he's not sure who he's supposed to not say stuff to. Or what he's not supposed to tell them. Or who's even asking him to not say the stuff he doesn't know to the person whose identity is unknown.

Misaki tilts his head and looks at Charmain curiously. "What do you mean? I mean, he thinks Adam is nice, and that's wrong..."

"Oh no you won't!" Decker says to the voice. "Nobody eats my Butler."

[The Bushranger]

(Great room)

Quinn raises an eyebrow, but says nothing.


(Kitchen)

Brendan raises an eyebrow. Well, that's the first time I've seen somebody eat a pepper like that...

The water suddenly wells up underneath Decker, then crashes back down into the pool.

"I will eat whoever I please. And you will not speak of me to anyone."

It sloshes closer to Butler.

"Good. Keep your mouth shut. Or not only will I eat you, I will eat this 'Misaki' as well."

The water calms down again and the voice falls silent.

[Greatroom]

Just trust me on this. I know evil when I see it, and that Butler... There was something off about him... It felt almost like... But no, that is impossible... Hmmm... Just be careful, okay? Even if he himself is not dangerous, I believe that he might very easily be used by evil things for ill intentions.

Sunny looks alarmed. "Am I doing it wrong?"

Sunny's player eats peppers like that all the time. Slicing is too much bother, and peppers are yummy.

Butler nods, staying as quiet as possible.

He should just leave. Go back to Hell and stay there. He wouldn't mess up anymore and it'd be safer and happier for everyone.

Butler suddenly feels just sick. He goes to crawl into an infirmary bed.

Decker follows Butler and curls up with him.

Misaki shakes her head at Charmain. "Nuh-uh! Butler may be silly, and he may be wrong about Adam, but he is not evil!"

BR has never seen anything like that before.
No, not wrong, it's just...well, most people slice 'em. Brendan shrugs. I prefer pickles to peppers, myself...



(Great room)

Quinn. Listening. Yup.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. But... This is my job, and I know how to do it. He might not be evil, but he doesn't suspect evil in anything either. ... Okay, just promise me that if you think there is something strange about the way he is acting, or if he seems... dangerous in any way, that you'll get away from him and tell me about it, okay?

"Oh." Sunny considers this for a moment, then decides her way is more efficient and continues eating it. "What are pickles?"

"Alright. But he won't ever, so, nyeh!" Miskai sticks her tongue out at mean Charmain.

Meridian chuckles at the little show of defiance, but he takes Charmain's words seriously.

[Infirmary]

"Someday I'll do something right and make everyone happy ma'am."

[Jacklu]

Charmain sighs. He might not, but there are things in this world that can make people do things they might not normally do. She shrugs. Thank you for your time, at any rate. Blessings be upon you, and have a nice day.

Eko is still in the Great Room. She's beginning to climb up the wall. For practice.

Decker swan nibbles gently at the underside of Butler's chin.

"You haven't done anything wrong, Butler."

Misaki nods, but is distracted by the creepy lizard person on the walls. Misaki tries to pick up Meridian and scurry off to the Rose Garden.

"I guess ma'am."
Quinn and Tobias and this cross lady with her strange books and nommable feets seem to think so.

He pets the Decker swan.

To the Rose Garden!
Meridian snuggles Misaki's neck gently, giving her tickly little ferret kisses. I love you, Misaki.

Quinn smiles softly seeing Misaki heading off, then heads to the Infirmary, as her player has to go in a bit.


(Kitchen)

Pickles? Well, let's see...
Brendan steps over to the fridge, and produces a jar of bread-and-butter spears. These are pickles.
