Shania goes to her room, grabs some pajamas, and rushes back with them. Here ya go. Um, the might be small on you. But they're all I got.

(She doesn't know about the special closet full of clothes yet.)

She then gets her glass of milk, and leaves the chaos of the kitchen.

{Swimming Pool}

Vidalia frowns. She gets out of the pool and heads to the hot tub.

Bianca smiles at Quinn. I feel the same way. She swims closer to Quinn. So, where's Misaki?

((DEADTIME))

[The Bushranger]

(Pool)

I think she went to the Rose Garden earlier, Quinn says, smiling at Bianca. She's just too sweet, isn't she?



(Kitchen)

Well, the pool might be nice. Brendan nods, his cheeks slightly pink. But what's this about a fire?

[Recaiden]

I will, thanks Runner. I just didn't expect to get knocked out.
Ashna starts walking towards the pool, hopefully with Brendan coming along.
I hope so. She frowns. What do you mean? Haven't you seen me? She gestures at the fires following around her bare feet and in her footsteps.
It's kind of separate in its thoughts. And they get, well ... Any color that had left her face returns.

[The Bushranger]

Brendan is, indeed, coming along. Ah. Well, I didn't know it had a mind of its own. He smiles a little. They get fiery? he ventures, half-seriously.

[Recaiden]

Yeah. We usually get along very well, so it isn't too apparent.
Ashna nods. That would be a good way to put it. And grins. Not that there isn't a time for that.

[The Bushranger]

Brendan chuckles and nods. To everything there is a season, he quotes, as they arrive at the pool. Hm. I should change, if you'll give me a minute?

[Recaiden]

Ashna shrugs, not knowing. She puts on a pair of water proofing boots, and realizes she has no swimming clothes. Sure.
So after gathering up the things left from transforming, she gets in without any.

[The Bushranger]

If that means what BR thinks it means, it means the clad-in-swimming-trunks Brendan will get a very red face when he emerges and heads to the pool.

Er...would you like me to get you something? he'll ask, looking anywhere but at Ash.

[Recaiden]

Yes, that's what's meant. This didn't cause her a problem when only a fox was here.
Get me somethi-? Oh, that. You 'civilized' people. Ash laughs lightly.
I don't mind. If seeing me bothers you that much, go ahead.

[The Bushranger]

Er...no, it's OK. Brendan swallows, and reminds himself: eyes above the shoulders. If it's what you're used to, it wouldn't be right of me to make you do differently...
He sounds like he's trying to convince himself more than anything, even as he slips into the pool.

[Recaiden]

Ash swims over towards Brendan, staying near the shallower parts. She's not a very good swimmer.
Right. I'm letting you keep your clothes on, see? Totally fair. She's trying not to be amused at his discomfort, but it seems so odd to her.
Really though, thank you.

[The Bushranger]

You're welcome. He smiles back, his cheeks still a little red, but remaining composed. I guess this might fall under 'cultural education'. Brendan chuckles. And thank you. This is nice...


Unfortuntly, his player is being kicked off the computer.

[Recaiden]

Ashna grins at Brendan, over her embarrassment. I guess it would, if I really had a culture all to myself.
She laughs along with him. You're very welcome. Thank you for joining me, and putting up with my odd customs.

Mage wakes up in his room. Why is the door transparent? Which idiot wrote 2+2=? On his door. Why is he covered in burns? All very good questions. He tries to open the door. Having trouble, he vaguely considers a Radiohead reference, before writing "4".

[Neon Knight]

Bliss is walking around in her pajamas, looking for someone to talk to.

Meridian is in the kitchen, scavenging for food.

And so Bliss walks into the kitchen, still in the pajamas Shania lent her. Being a bit small for her, they hug her curves and especially the chest area. She's a bit of a busty girl. Anyway, the midnight skinned, starry eyed void girl spots the ferret and goes to pet him, taking him for a simple animal.

[Dirk Kris]

Meridian jumps as he is snuck up on, then closes his little eyes and purrs with pleasure at the petting.

[Ashen Lilies]

Mage wakes up in his room. Why is the door transparent? Which idiot wrote 2+2=? On his door. Why is he covered in burns? All very good questions. He tries to open the door. Having trouble, he vaguely considers a Radiohead reference, before writing "4".

All the enchantments on the door suddenly end. Which means it turns opaque again, and then splinters and falls off of it's hinges. The same will happen to the Vlad-clone one he write 4 on his door.

As to why he's covered in burns... that is a good question. It's not of Ash's doing, anyway.

Bliss coos a bit as she pets the ferret. "You're a cute little thing, aren't you?"

[Dirk Kris]

The ferret nods a bit, as if he understands her, and tries to climb into Bliss' palm for more petting.

[Neon Knight]

Bliss finds a chair to sit down in as the ferret settles on her palm. *Pet, pet*

"I'm Bliss. What's your name, little guy?"

[Dirk Kris]

Meridian. The male voice projects quietly into Bliss' mind. The ferret tilts his head to the side, practically prancing under her petting.

[Neon Knight]

Bliss starts and nearly drops the ferret. "Oh, sorry! I, um... er... I didn't know..."

[Dirk Kris]

A quiet mental chuckle can be heard. Of course not, because I hadn't told you yet. Don't worry. I'm not radioactive or anything, just something of a freak. But whatever you do, please don't stop petting me. Your hands are so soft. His whiskers twitch.

[Neon Knight]

Bliss continues to pet the ferret. "Er, thank you. So, um, why can you talk?"

[Dirk Kris]

Meridian shrugs a little, his tail swishing and tickling her palm. I used to live in a lab. I guess something went right - or wrong - and now I can do this. But only with one person at a time, and only someone I can see. It's not quite as powerful as most people assume.

[Neon Knight]

"Oh, I see." Bliss thinks for a second. "Say, Meridian, do you know people around here very well?"

[Dirk Kris]

The ferret curls up in Bliss' palm to rest his head on his forepaws as he looks up at the girl. A few of them, yes. Others by acquaintance. Why do you ask?

[Neon Knight]

"Oh, um... I'm new around here, and I just want to meet people. Oh, and I need money."
