Also, before you join, read the Rules of the Spork. If you are not a member, then when your character arrives, you will be outside the front door and must roleplay getting entry, but bear in mind that whenever your character enters GLoG, alignment scanners will try to detect his/her current intention's alignment (so even the most evil of people might come off as good, if they think they are. If you wish to post, IC, on GLoG's bulletin board, it is located here, and there is a Full Members list here. If your name's not there, feel free to go on and add your character's name, and information.

Some areas of the base are DNA locked and alignment locked so that only members with no evil intent can enter unescorted. These include the Security Room, the Armoury, the Detention Wing, and the Artifact Vault.

Artifact Vault - Set next to the Armory, this is where GLoG's major artifacts are stored. The door is DNA locked to members only.

The Brightheart
The Brightheart is a plain orb, set upon a stone plinth labeled 'The Brightheart'. Also on the plinth is a note that says:
'Do Not Remove. Ever. No, not even then. (But maybe then.)'
The Brightheart itself glows with inner light, and throws up a positive energy blanket of moderate strength (heals most surface wounds, and makes undead sick) a few meters in radius. Touching the Brightheart results in having a large amount of positive energy run through you (heals all wounds, and drives undead to near death). Inside the plinth itself is a gate to the Negative Energy realm, which draws off the excess positive energy from the Brightheart. Should the Brightheart be removed, and taken away from the base without the necessary preparations being made, two Very Bad Things^TM will happen.
A) The Brightheart's positive energy will not be siphoned off, and so it will be returned to full strength, throwing up a powerful positive energy blanket about a kilometer in radius, and killing anyone who touches it, living or no, through sheer positive energy overdose.
B) The gate to the Negative Energy realm will become unstable and tear, creating a giant Negative Energy rift in the middle of GLoG.

The portal between GLoG and HALO is still open, providing instantaneous transportation between the two organisations.
But anyone passing through it arrives outside the front door. If they've already been cleared (previously interacted with GLoG without hostilities), they can walk straight in without having to roleplay out knocking on the door and so on.
There is also a smaller portal operating between GLoG and Farthing Cottage

First time visitors, or people who have previously caused trouble have to wait for someone to undeadtime to decide whether they can enter the building (GLoG), or not, unfortunately. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

There's just the teeniest touch of condescension in the word "drone", as Magtok politely smiles at the grossly inferior being.

A lie, Magtok knows Cal is gone, the PEACE goblins confirmed it. But do the drones know?

Nk doesn't know, but he's inclined to say no. "Very well. Enter."

Magtok does so, and drops his Cal-strategy claim as he immediately begins looking for Sunny.

He finds Sunny in the greatroom, playing with legos. IZK-alpha is in the area, but not hovering close by.

Bliss is in the kitchen, looking into a glass of tea as if she could divine something from it.

There is a knock on the front door.

Tersely the Terse drone gets the door again. "Yes?"

Outside the door is a young woman. Her hair is long and brown and she looks a bit shaken at the moment. She seems to be wearing pants that are a few sizes too large for her and there is a small bag on the ground next to her. Um... I was looking for a place to stay and I heard that this place was open for people that don't want to be bad anymore. She glances nervously over her shoulder. And I think I might have robbed somebody on accident. And stole his clothes too.

Tersely bobs a bit and examines her, scanning her quickly and examining the alignment detector. "How does one rob on accident? And steal clothes on accident?"

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok floats over.

Hi Sunny. Thought you wanted to come back back to the Cave?

[Neon Knight]

Bliss exits the kitchen after dumping her tea down the sink, waving at Sunny.

"I do... but... " She glances fearfully towards the front door. "I keep getting panicky when I think about going outside."

[Jacklu]

Her alignment comes up as being Good. Good, with a chance of Evil. Maybe partly Evil clearing to Good for the evening. Mostly Good at the moment though. She seems exceptionally ordinary. Slight hints of magical power, but no more than the average person within the nexus. She bites her lip nervously at the drone's question. Well... Sometimes I do things that I don't remember doing. Or, at least, I think I do. I have to guess that I did it, because I don't actually remember doing it, but find evidence that I did. Like these pants. They aren't mine, but I was wearing them when I woke up this morning. And I had this bag which I didn't before, and it is filled with money and stuff.

Tersely sighs internally. Another person with problems. Great. They outnumbered the problem solvers seemingly 6 to 1. "You may enter. A membership form will be provided."

[Jacklu]

The girl smiles warmly. Thank you, Mr... Floating ball thing... She steps inside and looks around. The rumors she had heard were correct. This place was really nice. Now, to keep herself from accidentally robbing it.

A membership form is offered to her.

Magtok nods. He's had more than a few irrational phobias of his own to deal with before.

We can skip the walking bit, then.

Mag takes out what appears to be some sort of elastic steel hula hoop, and stretches it about until it's approximately oval-shaped and big enough to fit a person. With the press of a button, the interior of the MagCave appears within the thin gateway, and Magtok plops it down on the floor.

So's there anything you need to get before we-

Bliss. Or at least, that's what he thinks her name is, Mag didn't pay too much attention to the cohort of Stu when she appeared on the security network. There's some vague tie between her and the flower, but whatever it is, it says a lot about the girl. Anyone willing to hang out with that plant (It was alluded to/mentioned at some point with Charity in GLoG, right?) can't be very bright, nor very concerned with morals and ethics. Minion, maybe even henchperson material.

Hold on a sec, business.

Magtok floats over to Bliss.

The girl rummages through the bag she has with her and produces a pen. She sits down on the floor and fills it out.

Bliss looks to Magtok as he hovers over. "Why... u-um... yes, I am. I'm Bliss. Pleased to meet you."

Sunny brightens at the sight of the portal and quickly dumps her legos back in the box. "I'll get my tools and be right back!" she says, and runs off to do that.

Eurai stands and grabs her stuff. Do I get a room now? Or is there some kind of deposit? She looks around at the other people in the greatroom at the moment. All these other people are members, right?

Magtok might find that somebody is trying to hijack his portal and redirect it somewhere else. If it happens, he might be unpleasantly surprised to see what happens.

"Incorrect. Only Sunny is a member. Bliss and Magtok are guests. A room has been provided for you in the member's quarters.'

[Lord Magtok]

I'm Magtok. Stu sent me, he said there's been a change of plans. We're going to hold a GLoG member hostage.

Magtok then turns around, and grins at one of the security cameras. He's blissfully unaware of his portal being hijacked.

Bliss's eyes grow wide. "W-what!?!" Her cover has been blown as she absolutely no idea as to what to say or do.
