Recaiden hasn't even heard of Dani.
The pool, a room, the garden.

...let's just say no place was safe from the super-cute super-short ultra-hyper snuggler.
Especially not the hot tub.



How about the rose garden? Brendan asks, blushing at the possible implications of the pool or the room.

[Recaiden]

But they were already at the pool. . . And her room is...not like that.

That sounds great. Ashna stands up and offers a hand to Brendan to head to the gardens.

[The Bushranger]

But then they weren't an item. And Brendan doesn't know that.

Brendan stands as well, taking Ash's hand and squeezing it gently. Yeah. Lead the way. He smiles.

Quinn smacks her silly player, then tucks Crimson into a medbed and heads out, wandering and thinking.

[Recaiden]

And I suppose she could have meant his.

The squeeze of the hand is returned as she walks out into the rose garden. It's so much nicer to be outdoors. She smiles as well.

[The Bushranger]

Yeah, it is. And it's better when shared with somebody, too.
Brendan nods, finding a bench and sitting on it, patting the space next to him.

Ashna takes the offerred seat, and tries to continue cuddling with him.

A person in a mask and robe has wandered through a portal, and runs into Euria. They really do have a terrible sense of direction. Why did they make that extra turn?

Euria stumbles back from the collision. The bag she is carrying drops from her hands, spilling its contents across the floor. Seems to be mostly coins of varying values and some personal effects. None of them seem the kind of thing a girl like her would own. Ah! S-sorry!

[Recaiden]

I'm so sorry miss. Entirely my fault. Let me help you with that.
He kneels down and tries to help gather up the things. His hands are covered in white gloves.

Euria shouldn't feel anything, but he's trying to read her thoughts.

Her thoughts are oddly well shielded, though what does slip through is a combination of self admonishment for bumping into the guy, and nervousness over what might be in the bag. She scoops up stuff and stuffs it into the bag. I didn't even see you coming.

[Recaiden]

He's a bit surprised by how many people here shield their thoughts. And keeps reading, interested by it and trying to get what little information he can.
I am sorry. Is there some way I can make it up to you, for spilling all your things?

[Jacklu]

It isn't her shielding on purpose, and clearly it isn't that strong of a barrier, given that he is getting thoughts through it. She is very embarrassed and is worried about making new friends. Um... well, I need to find my room, I guess.

[Recaiden]

I don't know which one is yours, but I can help you look, if you'd like.
He points down the hall.

Thanks. I don't even know where they are at this point.

[Recaiden]

They should be down that hall. Are you new here, or just lost?
The figure sets off down the hallway, but stops to make sure she's following.

She keeps up with him just fine. New. I just got here today, actually. Though I have heard things about this place.

He starts looking about he rooms for empty ones/hers.

The girl smiles. Nice to meet you, Arlem. I'm Euria. Her thoughts are basically the same as before, though at the moment she is evaluating Arlem, fitting him into her categories of people she meets. Safe/not safe, nice/mean, ect... She clearly thinks he is a helpful person, and is relieved to have found a guide. Her room is found soon enough, having her name on the door and all. How nice.

[Recaiden]

That's a very nice name; not one I've heard before.
He holds the door open for her, standing to the side.
Here it is. Let me welcome you to the GLoG, in place of the people who's job that is.
His appearance probably doesn't help. Loose, hooded black robe. Mirrored mask, but with the upper-right corner black, with no holes for eyes or mouth, or at least too small to be noticed.

She smiles and dips her head in a slight bow. Thank you very much. She is really grateful. Also seems to trust the masked fellow well enough at this point. At the very least, she is not afraid at the moment. -zzzzzzzz- And there goes reception. Feels like a wall suddenly went up over her mind. He might be able to tell that it was not something was consciously aware of happening either. Will I be seeing you around, perhaps?

He can't tell that much, but does step back in surprise.
What just happened? Is your control that good?

She raises an eyebrow at him. Looks a bit confused. What? Control? She looks behind her, then back at Arlem.

[Recaiden]

Your mind's...gone. It's like you just vanished. I can look and see that your still here, but my mind can't see you anymore.
That really surprised him, as he thinks it was a conscious thing of hers, and that she's much more skilled at telepathics.

[Jacklu]

My mind... She suddenly flushes. Were you... reading my mind just now?

[Recaiden]

A little. You mean you weren't letting me see those thoughts to make cutting them off have a bigger impact, to show you were the stronger psionic here?
He bows his head.
You didn't think enything embarrasing, or even important.

[Jacklu]

Euria looks mortified by the thought of somebody else poking around in her head. I... You shouldn't just... It's very rude to just poke around inside somebody else' head you know. Especially without asking permission first.

[Recaiden]

I'm sorry. It's just, my people can all do so. Thoughts are as open as appearances. I would as soon not use my eyes without the permission of the world to look upon it.
He looks embarrased, such as he can. I apologize if it offends you, and will not see your mind without asking, not that I could.
