Re: Shadow's Shady Shop of Sharks, Shingles, Shammies, Shiny and Random Banter #129
*sidles over*
Hey, my reptilian friend, how's it goin? Ya know, your old friend Chummers could sure use some ice cream right about now...
In other news, girl I like. Been good friends with her for a while (4, 5 years). Hung out today. Desperately want to figure out a way to convey how I feel about her, to figure out how she feels about me, to figure out if she knows how I feel about her, to figure out what to do about the whole mess...
*hangs head* I told myself I wouldn't get caught in this kind of situation. There's no pressure at all except for wondering and waiting. Which is a lot of pressure... advice, comments, snarks, help?Avatar by Kris on a Stick

^: Ask her out using a puppet show.
<_<
>_>
If you got some hand puppets and sock puppets and things... And had to put on a children's puppet show at random...
What would you do to start with?
I think mine would devolve into puppet pal what's his name hitting puppet pal what's his face with the bonk stick....

That's because some things just shouldn't be spoken about.

Well, the color and brittleness we can get around with by using that weird Elder Scrolls Green Glassteel.
The heating during the day and the lack of heat retention at night would be the biggest problems remaining, if I recall. That and ventilation.

Unfortunate that that particular fictional material is fictional.

They'd have to work at it though, as you'd need pretty thick glass to have decent walls to support the stress of doors opening and closing and the weight of any additional floors.

Pfft, any kid who can't break four-foot bulletproof shock-resistant glass with a rock and one good throw isn't trying hard enough.

Re: Shadow's Shady Shop of Sharks, Shingles, Shammies, Shiny and Random Banter #129
Your talk of delicious foods leaves me unmoved, for I have been grazing upon Florida's finest for some time, although oranges were out of season.
To Do List:
Return to Cajun Cafe (find place to park husband who does not like hot spices)
Open NY-style pizza parlor and Italian sub shop back home
Open Vietnamese restaurant with 50 types of soup back home
Open BBQ restaurant with on-site smoker back home
Open Italian restaurant with bowls piled high with creamy pasta back home
Open franchise of delicious burgers at fast-food prices back home
. . .and looking back over that, we also missed sampling gator bites. Well, shoot.
Food retail businesses in the fast-food price bracket, here, seem to close within a year, often to resurface within a month with new name and no obvious change of ownership. Tax dodge, perhaps. It wouldn't be conducive to a franchise.

I don't like hot spices. Or cold spices. Wait, are there cold spices? And if not, why not? And why can't we just freeeze hot ones? And if there are, why does no-one ever talk about them?
CONSPIRACY!
EDIT(Without actually editing): After re-reading the above, I would just like to make it perfectly clear that I mean nothing by anything I've said at all.

Woot, first day back in college was good. We get to work in a new studio in another part of the college across the road, which is much nicer with a fore friendly and social environment. I’ve decided to work on my own sadistic twisted version of Peter Pan, not totally sure what media I’m going to use though.

Comic thread? You shouldn't have to wait too much longer. Other? Well, in that case, I don't know.

I hate waiting. That's probably why I got "Sonic" in the "What Super Smash Bros. Character are you?" quiz..."The Mormons were right."

Re: Shadow's Shady Shop of Sharks, Shingles, Shammies, Shiny and Random Banter #129
Well, Alarra usually does that, I beleive, and she recently had a kid, so I think that we can excuse any lateness on her part in performing mod duties.A lot of mods aren't on all that much any more, and that problem is being addressed by the staff, we've been assured. If you can't wait, then play an addicting net game. That usually burns up a lot of time.

First day at freshers' fair for the G&S society today went pretty well. Not too many sign-ups, but we didn't expect too many. Point is they mostly seem like they'll actually join.
