A visit back home [ACRO plot/location]

Daisuke's old home, Soul Society, where he's brought Val for a visit.

The gate will pop them out near a pair of doors, which have the japanese number 5 on them.

Daisuke looks at Val. Welcome to Seretei. I called ahead, so they know we're coming.

Various shinigami are bustling around in the streets. Their reactions to the pair are quite friendly, and a number greet Daisuke by name.

Despite being in the Seretei, this is defenitely ACRO, not BleachitP.

At the moment, it's just for Daisuke and Val. That may change in the future.

[McBish]

Val smiles looking around the base responding back to the anyone who says hi to her.

Wow, this place is big.

It is, isn't it? This is actually just the central... you could call it a fortress.

That gate actually had a translation spell put into it, so you can understand what's being said.

This is convinent indeed.

[McBish]

OH I guess I didn't even think about it. That is good though, can everyone understand me?

Now, the person who's meeting us is...

The doors open, to reveal a young woman who Val's met before (I think).

Momo Hinamori.

Hello, Daisuke. Hello, Val.

She's smiling at them both. Decided to come for a visit?

[McBish]

Yep for a short while. Hi again Momo. Yeah Daisuke wanted to show me around where he lived for so long.

[horngeek]

Ah. Well, we'll have to show you around.

Come in!

Daisuke will lead Val in. I used to lead this division. It's good to see that my sucessor is doing well.

And a lot of them are going to want to welcome you back, even if it is only for a visit.

Yeah...

[McBish]

Val starts to head in. Wondering if this is going to be overwhelming but smiling none the less.

The buildings of the 5th division quarters are in the traditional Japanese style, with sliding doors. The people in here give Daisuke and Val a very warm reception, with a lot of asking how Daisuke's going and an eager curiosity about Val. It's not threatening, though, and Daisuke looks at home here.

I came to lead 5th after it had been... well, gutted. You remember how I told you about Aizen?

[McBish]

Val smiles and greets the many people. She nods to Val. Yeah, he was the captain of this place before you, and then went bad.

[horngeek]

Yeah... Hinamori was his Vice-Captain at the time, and he had manipulated her into relying on him to such a degree that at first, she didn't belive Aizen was actually a traitor.

Momo looks back at them. I believed he was being manipulated by one of his fellow traitors, Gin Ichimaru.

Daisuke was one of the two people who really brought me back from that. He... healed the entire Division.

[McBish]

Val smiles. It seems like he has a talent for that sort of stuff. She smiles taking Daisuke's hand.

[horngeek]

He takes her hand back.

Momo smiles. Yes, he does.

You sound as if you've had experience of that yourself.

[McBish]

Val nods. He has been helping me with some... identity issues I have been having.

He has been a great help.

[horngeek]

Momo drops back to the pair. That's great.

A lot of people are going to want to meet you.

Daisuke smiles. I'll introduce everyone.

[McBish]

Sounds like we will be in for a busy day. Should be fun. She smiles, a bit nervously, meeting a significant others friends is one step away from meeting family, and some times more important.

[horngeek]

Don't worry. Most of them are pretty nice, especially since we shouldn't meet anyone from 12th-that's the science division, and tends towards mad science.

[McBish]

I'm not worried, I'm sure it will be fine. A bit of a lie, she is worried, that they won't like her, that they won't think she is good enough for Daisuke, stuff like that. But if it wasn't for the link he wouldn't notice it probably, she is hiding it very well.

[horngeek]

Val, it's going to be fine.

The people here who I'm friends with will approve.

He's calmly confident, obvious both in his stance and through the bond.

[McBish]

Val smiles and she seems more confidant now. Right then lets get to the meeting of people.

Right. Who do you think you should see first?

Wanted to catch up on Toshiro for a while...

Daisuke explains to Val. He's the Captain of 10th. Youngest current Captain, considered a prodigy by most.

[McBish]

Val smiles. Right then, lead the way. I look forward to meeting everyone.

All right. He and Momo are pretty close as well...

Daisuke takes her arm. Going to go the fast way. Alright?

[McBish]

Val nods. Right then lets go. She takes his arm.

There's a momentary blur as Val should have a brief sensation of flying, then they land in another building, outside an office.

Momo is already there, and knocks on the door. Shiro!

A voice calls out. Yes?

You do know I brought some visitors?

What?

The door opens, revealing a figure.

Oh! Hello, Daisuke.

Who's this?

This is Val.

It's a pleasure to meet you. Toshiro Hitsugaya.

[McBish]

Val smiles. A pleasure to meet you as well Toshiro.

So, how's it been?

Well, everything's going smoothly.

So, how do you know Daisuke?

Hitsugaya directs this question at Val.

[McBish]

Well he has been helping me since I came to the Nexus. Protecting me from some people, working on teaching me to defend myself, and just in general being a friend, a very good friend. She says slipping hand into Daisuke's again to illustrate the point.

It's good to have someone like that...

Hitsugaya smiles at Momo, who smiles back.

Daisuke looks at Val. See?
