Corporal: Head of a 5-man patrol. (Themselves+. Typically 3 Privates of varying ranks and a Specialist)
So on, and so forth.

Ranks, over private, are leadership ability based as opposed to personal ability like in the Gotei. Thus, a squad of 4 'bankai' level troops could end up taking orders from a Corporal without a 'shikai'. The ARC is a well oiled war machine and they'd be all up in everyone else's business if their own 'Hueco Mundo' and the overrun South America were not already threatening to overwhelm them. The ARC is tied to the main plot line, thus they can wait until things settle with the Olympians/Bount/whatever else needs to be closed up.

HG: I have no idea what the devil you are talking about with this character. However, as it stands, you've got the CC of the Gotei, the second highest ranked Espada, a Quincy who is (if I recall correctly) is soon to be able to Final Form without penalty, and now a telepath ala Toho who is also unkillable?

Zealot form: The Zealot form is one of several experimental means the Council secretly tested in a desperate attempt to ward off extinction. I imagine that those Captains who were part of the invasion force might have seen a few Zealots (as well as various other Pariah Project test subjects) in action and reported back. What remains of those records should be buried somewhere within the archives for those who go looking.

I will list a number of characters in a table, for now limited to the captains of the gotei 13 (and Kido Corps) and the Espada. And each of you will quote the table, adding a single word you feel that describes the character.

The rules:
- Don't ask anyone an explanation for any descriptor they gave.
- Don't add a word to a character your own.
- Don't ask me to add names of characters from the remaining factions. I will do it when I bloody well feel like, if I feel like.
- Shirubaru will be listed as captain of the 11th because frankly Cecilia is completely secondary.
- Septima is empty because there is no septima.
- Decima is empty because the new guy is too new.
- The crunched line between Siegfried and Marro is working as intended.

I'm going to have to put that table on hold, since I've barely paid enough attention to half of the Shinigami characters to know anything about them. No offense.


However, I will take this opportunity to make my own announcement. I've got some days off coming up in about a week, and I want to get something done. It's always bugged me that the Espada banner on the wiki is so outdated these days, so I'm taking it upon myself to actually get up and properly update it to the current conditions. Before I do that, I'm going to need something from the players, so I'll make this as clear as I can:

ATTENTION ALL CURRENT ESPADA PLAYERS

If A) I have never before drawn your character or B) your character has gone through a dramatic physical change since the last time I drew them, please PM me all the relevant details so I can draw them and update the banner. Relevant details are as follows:

1. Current physical appearance, along with a description of their unreleased Zanpakutou. Please include Mask, Hollow hole and number tattoo placement as well.
2. Personality, as this will help me choose a proper pose for them. Also, if you have any specific poses in mind, let me know.
3. Image references, if any.

Note that this only applies to current Espada characters and Toho (if you don't mind Hadrian, I'd like to include Toho as well. We could use more pictures of him). Also note that this will be the Espada in their unreleased forms, so any information regarding their Resurreccions is not necessary.

I know that many of the character descriptions can be found here and on the wiki, but if I have everything I need put away in my inbox, then I don't have to dig around for random posts in order to find what color someone's Zanpakutou hilt was. I also realize that some characters have already been drawn by Prime32, and I mean no disrespect to his excellent work. I simply want to try to keep the style consistent in the new banner.
