Xavier: Has used his bankai all of 4 times total... as in at all, ever. Not just on-screen. (First time ever, Curing Ami, Fight with Natsuko, Fight with Makato)
My other shinigami only have shikai, save Alexander (who hasn't done jack).

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
...Geister kinda annoys me...as a character and a player. He's...upsettingly untouchable. Not that I haven't done some planning in my spare time for fighting him...>.>
Oh, and he my be surprised the next time he fights Koujin. (if that ever happens...if Koujin ever gets another fight...)
this, of course, is all completely unrelated to the current discussion, so I digress..Last edited by MageSparrowhawk; 2009-10-07 at 07:26 PM.

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
Yeah, what's going on there? Seeing as I now have a vested interest in the continuing survival of the Kidou corps...
Then you knew the risk you were taking when you came on here at the same time. Seriously, I'm just about to draft up a fine print, legalese disclaimer and put it in my sig that places all responsibility for unfortunate spit-takage on the same poor soul who was fool enough to actually put anything in his mouth while reading these forums in the first place. It's your own fault! You're setting yourself up for disaster! Tempting fate! Shouldn't you know better by now???

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
Well. He is the only character who seens to consider the idea of just leaving the scene if he gets too wounded. Happened after Daisuke's hado 90, happened after Cecilia's point blank reiatsu blast.
Von Geister just has all the right tools. His wounds are not easy to spot, he can and will abandon any fight that appears to turn on him, and he will measure/tire an opponent with his constructs before actually showing up. It is smart fighting for his abilities.

his whole 'incorporeal/swarm subtype' shtick just annoys me, as my main character can do virtually nothing to him...

Character can't use kido; the way his reitsu works, they don't function properly.

...right, those too. I'm pretty much coming up with those as I go along. Short of Word of Binding/Destruction: Omega. I will at least keep them consistent after their first use, but.
Also, I concur that letting Soul Society catch a break after the Bount Arc would be nice.My Homebrew

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
A couple things:
Did Harubo stop the shot with pressure, or physically? If the latter, his armor should actually have surface damage. Ran is using true arrows, which do much less potential damage than Shin arrows, but they deal slow healing damage regardless. Such arrows, even when they strike faction heads, may not be lethal individually but they will cause damage regardless of toughness and are highly resistant to supernatural healing. I know Toho himself would not happily take one of those to the face.
I strongly feel that going Final Form casually cheapens it. As strawberryman stated, his encounter should have gone down differently when facing it with Nukari. Final form, if in an area rich in spiritrons, should prose a very real threat to any opponent as it had a very real down time effect. Ran's single use of it resulted in plot and a training montage.
I've actually seen what Ersch is doing in his bouts, and it's a clever means by which to turn 'raw power' on its head. Given the 'swarm' and 'incorporeal' traits, it would stand to reason that point blank AOE damage is the way to chase him off whereas physical, single target shots would be silly. Take, for example, Daisuke doom coffin-ing him without the chant. It messed him up proper, and he walked away as he pretended it didn't do much. Of course, if people paid attention, his swarm form showed a hole in the face that was not healing. I understood that it was a subtle clue that he was putting up a front, and was far more mangled than the character would ever let on. This, I imagine, makes sense for his Death Aspect. Fear most potently comes from the unknown, thus (by obfuscating his actual condition) he accomplished a twofold task: 1) saving face, 2) maintaining a facade of invulnerability.Homebrew:The Reaper-The Wild MageAvatar by Zarah

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
It's still annoying when My character can do virtually nothing to him...I mean...even his special reitsu-attacks don't do much, because he'll just eat them.

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
Happens sometimes. Sometimes one character is very ill-matched against another. See Byakuya in his Espada fight or Artemis vs. Carcharadon for a BleachITP battle. In both battles, one side was severely out-matched by the other's abilities. It just happens. Try to keep Koujin from fighting Von Geister, or if it comes to that, take'm down before he releases.
