    The wolf rounds the corner, saliva dripping from it's maw as it licks it's lips hungrily. Whatever that meat is, it's mouthwatering.

    Around the corner you see what looks like something you saw in the wastes before, however alot less bulky and much more threatening. The "robot" moves on treds, and has an arse-load of Weaponry. Near the robot is a semi-tall human. Much like the others of the waste. And finally, near the entrance to store room B you see a small burnt human body ( the young boy). That's the meat you've been looking for.

    (I think I have, which brings up the questions of why I didn't stop for the fried Super-Mutant or The sliced up Jennessen.)

    The wolf stops and stays very still. He knows guns when he sees them but he has never seen a moving robot and doesn't know whether or not to run. He decides to stay hidden as he waits for the human and the thing with it to leave. The meat smells very good but he didn't know if he could survive a fight with these two. Besides, there was more meat to be had back the way he came. It doesn't smell as good but its a lot safer to get.

    (Well, there are a few more rooms to explore. Or you could go up to the second or third story and check out these "zombies". Or you could leave, and do some other wasteland sport. Or you could give the dog meat, and maybe make it your pet, and teach it to fly, and shoot lazers, and dig up buried treasure)

    Sure, I'll keep watch. Just lemme move a cot over, I shoot better lying down, but damn if this floor isn't uncomfortable.

    Tanner lies down after pulling over a cot so that he can lie comfortably on the floor, and keeps his Desert Eagle, fully loaded, aimed at the door.

    The body flies out of the room, far enough into the hall that the "dog" the two PCs don't notice COULD sneak off with it. ( your already hidden, so no roll needed).

    TEX and Tanner sit patiently in the room, waiting the hour or two it takes TEX to patch himself up. You place some loose circuts back, and mostly just patch over some holes in your chasis.

    The lot of you move through the hallway, stopping for a moment when you believe you saw something in the shadows, but then shrug it off and move on.

    You come to the first common rooms, which, as the name suggest, is just a big waiting room. Probably for worker breaks or visitors. This is made even more obvious when you see about 6 bodies in this one room. 3 of which are skeletal, obviously pre-war. Another 3 however are more fresh. Infact in the middle of the room is a creature, slumped over, munching away on one of the corpses.

    The body the creature chews on his moaning slightly, obviously not entirely dead. As you enter the creature turns, it's sickly pale hairless skin stretching as it's neck turns. The creature has MASSIVE scythe like claws, and a powerful and fearsome jaw. It only roars for a moment in a sickly bloodthirsty roar, before it jumps out of the nearest window, half the still-living body in it's oversized clawed hands.

    There isen't much to this room. You find the "person" the monster was just eating, they seem conscious enough to cough out the words "Hel-" before dying.

    Picking pockets, checking under couch cushins, and opening soda bottles you find the following.

    - 1 lv 2 passcard.
    - 222 caps
    - 1 locked safety deposit box ( yes like the ones in banks. Just singular)

    You grab the lid firmly with both hands. Pulling in opposite directions the lid snaps off with a quick *clak*. Tossing the lid to the side you see something AMAZING, a pristine, untouched by time or influence, honest-to-god GOLD BULLION (Sp?)

    The wolf finds the kid's roasted meat quite good but unfilling. He realy has nowhere to go so he decides to follow the two creatures that toss so much good food away. Nothing like a free ride, right?
