Just a general question. I've been eyeing the free-form roleplaying forum for a while now, but I've never worked up the courage to really post anywhere. The place just seems so... intimidating. Kind of like how newer people are intimidated by this thead.

Is there anyone here who posts there somewhat regularly that has any advice on getting started there? I know I posted my character bio there a while ago, but I never got around to making an actual post.

Of course. They are large, perfectly elliptical, non-porous rocks that are not damp at all, and have been cooling in the shade all day. AND I'm watching over the fire personally, to make sure nothing happens. And nobody is allowed to touch the stones because they are very, very hot.

Do not be afraid of it. You might do something wrong, but people won't mind, especially since you'll have just started. Read these and the start of the Out Of Character thread for wherever you want to post.
Wait until someone has a character who they've said is there but isn't interacting with someone else right then.
I'd say to start in the TAVERNA. Maybe.
