I am un-nommed and, with the way things have been going around here, that's an accomplishment! "You are what you eat" implies horrible, unspeakable fates. More mundanely, I'm pinning together a test bodice, first to be sewn, then to be cruelly chopped to bits, because I can't figure out the geometry of how to alter it beforehand. (tosses bits of thread and snippets of fabric into the campfire) Beats vacuuming, and warmer too.

Neither. I'm going to make the dress as the pattern intends it, yet I know it'll need to be altered in the front and it's a strange cut; I just can't figure out how short of making a muslin copy of it, trying it on, and cutting it where it is fitted too closely.
