((Oh, no! Did you see that? Her demon tail's back...I guess, with all these feelings, she couldn't disguise that so well))
Her tail's flicking around behind her. ((I don't know if he's seen her wings before...so it won't come just yet))

I decided that I'm going to try for long posts... add a bit more depth to what I'm saying.


He smiles and gazes at her. His eyes trying to make contact with hers. They say eyes are the window to a person soul, and his eyes are pure and innocent. He smiles gently at her. His hand reaches out to gently stroke her air. He savors the moment and with it the silence.

But inside things aren't nearly so calm, his emotions are all strange and confusing. He's not really sure how to describe how he feels. But it feels nice, light and bubbly, happy and kind of scary.

Oh. I guess that means that I should do that too. I was going to save all my detail for the book I was going to write, though.

Helen smiles back at her angel, making contact with his pure eyes. Helen's blue-green eyes were filled with the memories of everything she's done before - filled with shame. She sees in Celiaire everything she wants - innocence, his niceness, and his purity.
She looks down, ashamed to look in his eyes. How could someone as vile as her ever deserve someone as pure and angelic as him?

He slowly slides his hand down her hair... bringing it down to her chin. Which he gently tries to raise back up. Your a nice person you know that. He smiles at her, Your very special to me so please don't worry about your past, you have a fresh start here.... with me.

Looking back into his eyes, It's just...hard to start over. she says. Looking back into his beautiful eyes.

(Course not. But me and Fiffy are challenging each other for Nano. So I hope to write one then.)

It's easier then you think, if your willing to just let go and find something new to pursue with a vigor. He smiles at her, and leans in for another gently kiss.. Gently sucking on her lips as he does so. As he pulls away again leaving her that lovely sweet taste, he looks deep into her eyes and softly whispers. I know you can do it, I believe in you.

Yelling doesn't scare smurfs. Only humans and cats do. One likes to melt us into gold, or some kind of elixir. The other just likes to kill us. HEY IMPECCABLE HEARING SMURF!!! DON"T ACT LIKE YOU DON"T HEAR ME!!!

She smiles at him after the kiss, and licks her lips. She loves that taste. Thanks...I"ll do that....what should I try to do?

"Really sir? I didn't know that sir. Why were they afraid then sir?" Butler is just as confused as Blind Smurf.

Just forget what's happened.. your a new person. A good person He smiles at her... and slowly sinks back to the floor.

"Hi, Butler, who are you talking to?" Decker-swan says, peering over his shoulder.

I have no idea, Butlerbeebutler. A few other blue faces peeked out at the catmanthing. One of the clears it throat. Pssst! Blind smurf! It's me, Panic Smurf. THAT PERSON YOU ARE TALKING TO IS A CAT AND A MAN IN ONE!!! IT WISHES TO BRING DOOM UPON US!!!!!!!! Blind Smurf looks confused for a moment. He looks up at Butler. Is that... *ulp* true, Butlerbeebutler?

Don't worry about it you are. Deadtime now and here.

"Hi Decker ma'am. Blind smurf ma'am." He points at him.

Then frowns. "No sir. Not at all sir. I would never try to bring doom on you sir." Completely ignoring the first part.

"Of course not. Butler brings tea and snacks and warm towels, not doom. Unless you asked for Doom. I'm sure he'd get you some then." Decker says cheerfully.

[Jacklu]

Are... are you sure Butlerbeebutler? Another smurf comes out and cautiously approaches Butler. Hmmm... Interesting... A feline hominid hybrid of some kind...

[Reinholdt]

"I don't see any reason why I would ever want to hurt you sir. Doesn't seem like me at all sir."

"But Decker's right sir. I could bring you snacks if you'd like sir."

[happyturtle]

"Not some kind. The best kind." Decker says. "Hi, Blind Smurf. I'm Decker."

Quinn ducks back down in a hurry. ~Thanks. So...you know the local area better than I do. If you have any advice, I'm all ears, because my plan A would be something along the lines of knocking people out, and even I know that even without losing my hat that's a bad plan.~

~Maybe, you should wait till she goes to school, then confront her. She needs to be away from him, or she'll remain defensive.~

~That's a good plan. Thank you.~ Quinn smiles a little, mentally (but, she muses, isn't everything here mental? ...in more ways than one...) and settles back to wait on that event, reflecting on how minds are weird.

And just like that, Quiinn may notice that the shading within the house has dramatically changed.

As in, it's the next morning, instead of evening.

If Quinn carefully looks around the counter, she'll see the father wearing his a-shirt, Shania's mother wearing a smart looking business suit, and Shania
wearing a cheerleader uniform.

They are sitting at the dinner table eating breakfast. The mother looks at her watch. Well, I gotta run. She gets up, shouldering her purse, and quickly leaves the room.

Bye mom. Bye dear. The two say in unison. Shania gives her dad a smile and giggle.

Quinn watches the scene before her, feeling a pang for a moment at the...well, the normality of it all. Then a feeling of disgust as she realises what the departure of the mother means, and she hopes she can be a better parent for her own child.

{Shania's Mind}

Well, it's about time for you to get to school, too. Don't want you to miss cheerleading practice. The father stands and begins to collect the bowls.

Shania stands and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Love you, daddy. See you after school.

And Shania heads out the door, grabbing a pink backpack as she leaves.

The father takes the dirty dishes into the kitchen and places them in the dishwasher. Takes about two minutes.

Then he heads down the hall toward the bedrooms.

~She walks to school, so we should be able to catch her.~

~I have tricks to help, although I'm not sure if they'd work here, so walking it is.~

Quinn goes to slip out of the kitchen and head for the door, where she'll try to open and close it silently.
