(I apologize for how late in the day I finished this... It was caused by a combination of sundays being busy, me being exhausted, and James Bond being on.

Hrm, new strategy then: Greg can one-shot the mage, retreat a bit and tank the rest (I7). Gerard moves back to try and slow the reinforcements (H11), Yuan comes up a bit out of their reach to strike next turn (H10). Probably have Katleia come help there too (G10). Francis can nab xp from Roan's health. Roan I'm not sure about, whether or not we should be safer by having him also come south, or be faster and finish that door guard.

[Mando Knight]

H10 is not out of reach for the enemy. The north soldier and archer can both attack it, and Yuan's a much squishier and thus more appetizing target than Greg, who's also already poisoned.

Francis can go to F9 safely, as the Fighter doesn't move. The Knights don't move either, but that's another matter.

Yuan can just barely finish off that Soldier if he uses Ellight. Thankfully, if he does so, only the Archer can reach and harm him. If Greg attacks the Mage, he needs to hit or he's in trouble. However, if he hits, he kills the guy. He also provokes Mercenary 1, who can't reach Yuan anyway. Yuan or Greg can finish him off next turn. Roan and Gerard move south to provide a wall of spikes that the enemy will run up against, so they (and Kat) can polish them off the next turn.

All in all, I think this would clear out the most enemies while leaving us in a fairly defensible position:

Francis: to F9, heal Roan
Roan: to F12, Iron Sword equipped
Kat: to F11
Yuan: to I8, attack Soldier with Ellight
Greg: to J5, attack Mage with Steel Lance, move again to I7
Gerard: to either H11 or I12 (roughly same difference), Steel Lance equipped

Sometimes, battles need to be approached slowly, especially when outnumbered like we are.

Here is my idea. Have myself and Anslem stand at the door, guarding the passage. Have Aran attack the knight one more time and then pull back. They are both almost dead. Once Anslem moves, Lilliana can move in and heal me. Once healed, I'll finish off the knight in front of me. I'm not sure what the rest of you should do, but those with vulneraries should probably consider giving them to those who are more likely to find themselves on the front lines without healing support.

Now, this is going to need revising. As it stands, it's reduced the threat to just the fighter and archer, but the archer then gets a clear shot at Yuan. Doing the math (in my head), even with vantage Yuan will still take a beating and just about WILL die if he has ellight equipped. With Light, the enemy doesn't double, and it shaves 4% off the hit chance, which as we've seen can make the difference...

Still, there should be a better option out there...

In that case, I'll move to C10 and attack the other knight. That should allow Anselm to move to D9, finish off the knight Aran attacked. One of our mages can come down and finish off any survivors, and then we can move the rest of our party down. Advancing slowly and safely is going to be our best bet for survival.
