Ok everyone Belkarsbadside has allowed me to take control of the book club since he doesn't have enough time. We are going to start reading a new book. PM me if you have suggestions. Don't forget to include links to a review/summary of the book. I will create a poll thread once I think I have enough books.
We need a banner. Avatarists!!
There are a few rules for the books:
-No extremely contreversial, religious, or political content. If you have your heart set on a book like this though I will see if I can get I through. But I will have to ask a mod. Most likely Allara.
-No innapropriate or sexual content. Keep it PG-13 or at least minimally R-rated.
-Only reccomend one book at a time. Once the group finished one book you can suggest a new one.
-After I have collected books it will be your job to vote on them.

Can I un-join? Back when I said I wanted to join I had a lot of free time, and now with the holidays and school sports my schedule is packed.

umm.... Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keys is a great book. Watership Down by Richard Adams is good too.

anyways, I already suggested Storm front and you might want to make a rules list stating the typical rules you would expect here, like the kinds of books to recommend, the social rules, how people are going to choose a book, and etc.

Also, I'm not great for book recommendations, since I never dislike anything I read... Sure, some novels are better than others, but I've never read a book that I really disliked.

Fantasy/SCi-Fi sounds good, but I'm game for anything.

The Wheel of Time would be kind of a commitment, but eh. It's a great series, despite what some say, albeit kinda lengthy.
