    Sheila was not completely surprised by the sudden appearance of the Invisibles, but she had to admit she had not seen them coming. Hopefully, there was still a chance to save Rikktor from certain death.

    Hadon let Anex and Thomas each grab one of his hands, then hurried to the back lines with all the speed he could manage.

    I had been waiting on my turn to see if anything could be done to help Rikktor, but it looks like not, so I'll join the general egress and move on to Foxtrot S-19, and then I will target a Fireball on the Papa H-4 non-Invisible, (10d6)[32] damage. DC 23 to halve.

    Oh, and the map doesn't show any soldiers who are merely dying instead of being dead, but presumably there are some (haven't heard anything that implies there wouldn't be), so if I can get a general idea on where any large concentrations of them are, that'd be good).

    Oolar drops his rod of sculpting and pulls out a rod of quicken. He then casts a freezing fog on top of the grappling tentacles, ensuring that they won't go anywhere in a hurry.

    Drop (free action) Get (move action) Cast Freezing Fog (standard action) centered on top of the tentacle's radius. Freezing Fog is from SpC p99. On my turn each round anyone in the fog takes 1d6 cold damage and must make a reflex save DC 28 or fall prone.

    Twinkie has a blade barrier in front of him. Unless he flies over it, there may be an issue. There is also the issue of spiked growth (Which I don't mind assuming Twinkie is capable of jumping to avoid).

    Xanian's Razor Boar Skeleton cannot trample. Skeletons loose all special attacks of the base creature. Trample is a special attack for the Razor Boar. The Razor Boar can attack normally instead. While we are one the subject, the Razor boar skeleton does not have Vorpal Tusks either.

    Skeletons

    Lightning Zaps the the GCASC. The zap causes it to shudder for a moment before returning to normal.

    The Spiked Tentacle Monster grapples and injures all of the Invisible not protected with antimagic.

    Three of the non-antimagicked Invisible completely dodge the fireball. The rest are burned to ash in puff of blue flame.

    There are 700 Dead and Dying soldiers scattered throughout all of Papa and hotel along with the eastern half of Golf and Oscar. The dying soldiers are unconscious and thus not moving, so you would need magic to distinguish between the dead and dying.

    The freezing fog damages all of the rogues and causes two of them to fall prone.

    Round 16
    Everyone needs to make a spot check this round. Also, on your buff list, please highlight any effect that can pierce magical invisibility with the color yellow like so:

    Enemy Command:
    A mini tornado disappears from the wall, and a tornado of similar size forms around the Freezing Fog, dispersing it. A severe wind blows in a small area around the fog (this is a result of Control Winds BTW). One of the Invisible in the area is Checked (cannot move). Of note, the winds are not totally negated by the antimagic field, but they are lessened.

    The Iron Wall grows 20ft taller, and is now 60ft from the ground. It appears to be leaning a bit towards the enemies.

    Invisble:

    An antimagic tile is cracked near the GCASC, and an Invisible tumbles past the giant creature onto the spot where the Sphere of Ultimate Destruction should be.

    The Invisible near Rikktor act quickly. One gets up from prone, and the two capable of moving make their way to Rikktor. With the one already there and the one that didn't double move, two Invisible start to strip Rikktor of his belongings, effecting items in the order a NAt1 Reflex save against damage does.

    Shield, Armor, Hat, Item in Hand, Cloak, Sheathed Weapon, Bracers, Clothing, Jewely, Anything else, in that order.

    Two items are thus removed.

    The Gargantuan Clockwork Adamantine Scorpion Construct (GCASC) Moves forward 40ft (trampling the rogue for 16 damage) to Golf; O-R; 12-15. It then Casts Flesh to Stone targetting Marius.

    Turn to Stone
    Fort DC 21 negates.

    Thomas:

    The cleric will fly 40ft towards the Wall (ending on Golf N2) and puls out a scroll of Cometfall.

    You'll never guess which cleric spell is not negated by Antimagic

    Targetting the 3 Invisible looters (Oscar;I-J;18-19) Reflex DC 21 for Half; (11d6)[38] Bludgeoning damage from an instant conjuration that appeared 110 ft above the antimagic field.

    "Good Gods, that was close. Watch yourselves! This thing is getting nastier by the second!"

    *Stepping quickly to the side, he retrieves his bow and lets fly a storm of arrows at the hulking monstrosity, hoping that something will be accomplished, but beginning to have his doubts.*

    Hadon - round 16

    Hadon thought the Invisibles' leader must be around somewhere, silently directing his teams of killers. There might be a chance, although a small one, to force whoever that leader was to come out in the open. At the same time, he also needed to stop this group who was trying to climb their way around the Blade Barrier. The positioned himself carefully, then spoke with a forceful calm.

    "Come on now. I am ready."

    He wasn't yelling, but somehow his voice echoed across the width of the valley.

    The boar should have gotten Rikktor's body last round, so it will move toward Thomas this round. Also, it would have been hit from the cometfall, so it's down reflex - (1d20+2)[19] 38 HP (60 left)

    Round 16 Results:

    Marius let's fly a string of arrows. While they all find purchase, the stings are mostly negated by the unnatural hardness of the adamantium shell.

    While all of Grey's arrows hit the construct, none overcome the damage reduction of the foul creature.

    It isn't immeadiatly obvious if any enemies were blinded. The Invisible taking a knee on the sphere of Ultimate destruction was unaffected thanks to the antimagic field, same for Saul.

    The Undead Razor Boar is potentially blinded, and cannot make the trip to Thomas if this is so.

    The Test of Mettle doesn't do anything since you must have line of sight to the target. The enemies, however, are more than happy to oblige the request.

    Movement should be correct on the map. Tell me if not.



    Round 17

    The Enemy Leader 5. Super Invisible
    Hadon hears the following in his mind, as clear as if spoken in his ear. The voice is soft and velvety, with streaks of menace carved into careful civility.
    Your wish tough guy. Give my regards to your sister and father-in-law, please.

    Super Invisible is invisible (at least Greater considering the beatdown he is about to give)

    Hadon is already on the ground. And Oolar is remarkably close. As is Thomas. Now or never.

    Free Action: Drop the stone that Daylight was cast upon (same coordinates, Height is 0ft).
    At this point Oolar's Blue Veil is countered.
    Move Action: Pull out Scroll
    Standard Action: Cast Mordenkainen's Disjunction cetered on Oscar BC 12

    Oolar, Marius, Adjunct, Thomas, and Hadon are all within the spell effect. All Spells and Spell Like effects are disjoined. No Save or SR. All permanent magic items must make a DC 23 Will Save or be rendered mundane. (Please tell me you don't have any artifacts).

    Because the Disjoining undoes effects like dispeling, fly spells are not suddenly dropped (float for 60ft or something).

    The disjunction forces two Invisible to loose their invisibility.
    The Daylight effect shows the last location from where the leader cast from, but he is still invisible.

    :littlesigh: I have a lot of scrolls to roll for. Objects use the save of their owner, right?

    Sorry, I'm a bit behind here, from what I can gather though, I am now next to Rikktor's body and the pair of looters suffered a swift death from falling rocks.

    Assuming this is true, his psicrystal (it should still be active even in the antimagic field) will go and pick up his lost items before rejoining Saul on round 17. Saul will spend round 16 picking up Rikktors body and once his psicrystal joins him, he'll step out of the anti magic field and Dimension Door to Echo R9

    Directed at the Elder Xorn; Two of you move into the earth and attack everything on the other side of that wall. Cause as much damage as you can and hit mages or clerics if possible. Ignore the earth elementals. The other one stay here, move down into the ground, then delay for a moment before continually giving the positions of any enemies around your area. Don't come up near any that are medium size. (xorn goes underground. next round it pops up and states the position of any enemies that it can sense before moving back underground to end its turn)

    @the boar Move Rikktor to the cleric as fast as you can. (thought it should have moved last round, but I guess this would save Rikk's magic items)

    Xanian calls down the lightning again on the Scorpion lightningdamage - (5d10)[43] and jets off to Papa B10 @ 45ft up.

    Round 17 Results:

    The Disjunction Hits Hadon, Anex, Thomas, Adjunct, and Oolar. The effects of Disjunction have been described in the OOC thread.

    The Acid Fog hit only Adjunct (I don't recall how much damage it dealt). The billowing cloud of acid is still sitting there.

    The Gargantuan Clockwork Adamantine Scorpion Construct has fallen, broken from its many blows. It begins its autorepair cycle.

    Round 18

    The wall doesn't grow this turn, but the weather is as nasty as before. The Xorn notice that the Earth Elementals move out of their tremor sense zone, heading West at top speed.

    The Enemy Leader takes a 5ft step back and defensively casts Iron Wall between himself and Kal, 25ft wide and almost 15ft tall. Stepping out of the Antimagic field, his invisibility returns.

    The Invisible in the Sleet Storm move through the storm, hiding in the swirling mass of ice and rain. Magical vision does not penetrate the Sleet.


    Allies:
    Thomas will concentrate on the Gate, calling forth an army of allies. Everyone of Good Alignment has a small strike force of angels and archons following their commands. (Anyone who is not Good aligned may suddenly convert under upon seeing the awesome power of Holy Justice streaming from the Gate. Those with powers that rely on the forces of evil may find their powers converted to holy equivilents). This to be dealt with in OOC.

    Kal flies around the barrier at the fleeing Leader. He doesn't appreciate being denied his full attack, and strikes viciously.

    Edit: The Enemy Leader 5 is dead. Under the influence of antimagic, it appears he was a mage, not a rogue like the Invisible.

    Sheila relaxed a little, for things were now looking a little less bleak with help on the way. The scorpion construct was also out of order for now, leaving her free to tackle new threats. She requested her archons to stand guard at the bottom of the wall, then started to fiddle with her staff, as if uncertain what target to pick.

    No move. The fiddling with the staff is to try to hide the fact that she is reading an action to cast a spell as soon as the enemy mages become visible. The spell depends on what can be seen:
    - If they have no obvious way to protect their eyes (such as being each in an individual globe of darkness for example), then Flashburst in their midst, trying to catch as many as possible within the 120 ft radius effect.
    - Otherwise, Widened Fireball with the staff (4 charges) for (10d6+9)[54] damage, Reflex DC22 half. SR check (1d20+15)[16]. Firestorm (I realized I can't ready a Widened spell because metamagic requires a full round action).
    Spot check for this round, in case Invisibles come out in the open: (1d20+17)[20].

    Sheila's archons are asked to stand guard at the bottom of the wall, in Mike-B19 and Echo-P19. They will simply keep any elementals at bay with their Magic Circle against Evil auras (without trying to attack them), and take full defense actions while using their scent ability to be on he lookout for any incoming invisible creatures.

    Seeing the hoard of Archons pour from the gate, Xanian changes to CG and The Dead Walk converts to Walk Unseen.

    The newly changed Razor Boar (hm... needs new shorthand) is ordered to bull rush the "Invisible" sitting on top of the Sphere of ultimate destruction with the AntiM field. [roll0] (8 strength + 4 large) (see next post)

    Wanting to gain a massive ally for their side, Xanian invokes Walk Unseen for when his Greater Invisibility runs out, then flies to Golf P12 landing on top of the massive scorpion.
