In other news...

Epic Level 2 has been finished. Now with 100% more panels and 300% more Alikaar. Furthermore, plans are under way for a 3rd Epic Level comic.

Actually, it's impressive: I like almost every panel of 420. Mor accurately, every joke you put in it. Also, who's fighting in last panel's background? If that's a reference, they seem familiar to me but... =/

@memnarch, he teleports away in 419's last panel.

No teleportation needs to take place, getting to the elevator's like a 15 second walk from his previous position.

Although it distresses me that the floor on the elevator seems to not exist in the first panel, as well as contain a minor text bubble issue.

Comic 421. Comic two in a series of totally-not-filler-comics-to-stall-while-I-don't-advance-the-storyline comics.

Also, if you're curious about the guys in the background, they're nobody of consequence. I have a tendency to recycle templates collecting dust, so don't be so suprised if something in the background looks familiar. I can tell you where those two templates were originally from but...i'd rather not.

Furthermore, keep in mind that thanks to the moron who managed to poke their eyes with a hologram, warning labels are becoming more and more prevalent. Thanks to these pseudo-brained idiots, we now have condescending warning labels informing us that toasters are dangerous when turned on in a running bathtub, coffee is hot, and to not touch the chainsaw blade when said chainsaw is in use.

Secondary effects of totally-not-filler-comics-to-stall-while-I-don't-advance-the-storyline. This brings into question, have you ever done some major reconjuration on your own archive strips? I'm familiar with your Fix'd and the art upgrade of the first comics, but I'm talking about big changes like adding or removing things.

Anyways, because my computer has it in for me and this comic, here's the last panel of Comic 422. It'll be spliced into the completed 9-panel comic when I can recover it, but for now i'm (not) moving the story along.

". Also, I have more questions about him being made of lasers, but if the answer to the first questions is (as I suspect) magic, theres no point in the other.

I make these comics for my own amusement as well. Plus, i've had that idea collecting dust for a while now. Maybe not as long as the dust Marnia collected from her first iteration, but a good amount of it nontheless. The Zelda CD-i games have always amused me, and the absolute BEST way to troll a Zelda fan is to demand a sequel to Wand of Gamelon.

Personally I haven't played as many Zelda games as I should have, but hey, I don't grief people for liking the series. It's their Metroid. Speaking of Metroid I have recently cured myself of my Metroid Prime 3 virginity and will be moving on to the hyper-controversial Metroid Other M fairly soon.

And...because i'm having a bit of Writers Block, I made a Rapture Special Comic. Expect at least two more of these.

Well, the comic focuses largely on the fact that the world didn't end, only uses 'rapture' to mean 'world ending' and decisively ignores the reasoning given for said prediction...

I cut out 2 panels because I thought they skirted the rules too closely. I didn't make ANY criticisms about religion or their end of the world scenarios. The closest thing I made to it was a reference to a pastor by name, and in context it's the equivalent of me saying "Pope Benedict XVI plays WoW" (which may or may not be true, I dunno.)
