Out of interest, does anybody now of any good music recognition software that is, this is the important thing, free?

One of my friends gave me a CD she burned, and neither of us can remember half of the songs on it.

I don't know if you've tried this, but Googling the lyrics usually works for me. Although if it's in German, that could be difficult.
