Well; after helping to rally up, equip, organize and outfit the local militia,
Acanous decides he's done as much as he can for today. He feeds his dog, then heads back to the nobleman's estate to rendezvous with the rest of the party.

((Root, considering that im working with alchemists and a mage, i ask if someone can get me a hand of the mage - the one that costs 900gp and allows to cast mage hands at will. It will be usefull for turning on and off the engine, as would be open/close or prestidigitation, if the caster knew where to target it. Instead of using an eletric circuit to start or stop the engine, i will just use the levers in it. Yes, an mumified elf hand around your neck is a little gross, but i guess a yellow rubber glove could help to ease that point.))

I'm fine with whatever, but depending on the scale of the attack, I'd prefer rolls.

Also, can my shotgun shoot in a cone? It seems more appropriate. Maybe a big penalty to hit from 8-10+ squares a way, but fires in a medium-sized cone?

When the morning of the second day came, the first rays of the sun reaching the city, it found Ramos in a deep sleep in his bed, the most soft he could find in the vicinities of his workshops, envolved by 2 comforters. The smell of smoke and sulfur were strong around that part of the city, but hey, at least it kept the insects away.

Before he went to sleep, he had walked a market and searched for a place to work (2h), prepared explosives (1h), assembled a death machine (8h), crafted lead utensils (3h) and demonstrated to the local alchemists how to use it properly to manufacture sulfuric acid the modern way (1h), and had initiated 2 of the alchemists to the manufacture of biodiesel (2h). This after spending the previous day preparing to this trip. Of course, without all the local help, he would still be trying to assemble the machine, and with the local help he had afforded to stay just overseeing things for the most part. But that still involved a lot of work, and by the ende, his throat was sore, so when one of his companions came to talk to him, he had begged to leave the conversation to the morning, before finally marching to his bed.

It was around 10 AM when he finally was ready to resume the works, after a warm bath and a good breakfast. He had boiled the milk, for security (the last thing that he wanted was to have to fight a diarrhea or salmonella along the zombies), and added his coffee to it. Melted cheese, ham, bread and nuts completed his breakfast, while Ramos kept the remaining crackers and condensed milk in his backpack for complementing field rations.

For this day, his goals included hearing in lenght the scouts report, that he had just been aware of something about clerics, but since they had returned, it was all good probably. Then reuniting with his companions and the local notables for reviewing the battle plans. He had one idea last night about using one rope with a tie, one wooden board full of stakes and one vehicle to pull a unsuspecting enemy to a gory death. A potion of True Strike could be usefull for this plan. If nothing urgent pressed up, he would probably manufacture more explosives, more sulfuric acid and get some good equipment, check the temple and try to rest for the upcoming battle. Some of the local beer would be most apreciated, too.

Travis arrives back at town with Joe, presumably uneventfully, and spends the night resting.

The following morning, I venture into town in an effort to find me some wizards. I need some eternal wands, a belt of healing, a wand of CLW, and a caster willing to let me scribe from their spellbook.
