So. Anyone retamed a domestic cat that was someone's pet but has since gone wild?

We think my housemate's pet cat didn't get eaten by coyotes but actually went part feral and has come back. Only she doesn't really want to go into the house or get picked up or anything. Has approached us so we can pet her though. Like actually started mewling to get my attention and then walked up to me purring and started rubbing against me.

We'd been leaving food out since we knew there was a cat in the area that we wanted around to discourage any build up in the local vermin population outside so that they wouldn't be trying to get inside.

Well I havent re-tamed a cat that was once someone's pet, but i've gotten kittens from shelters that were born out side and forced to scavenge food for themselves and live on their own. My cat Mozart was like that. and he still steals food from the dinner table occasionally.
Normally kittens can be taken into a household easier than adult cats.

I dunno what to do if the cat has previously been in the house and just doesnt want to come back. Good luck to you.

No no, Zain has never asked any one to strip that I know of. You're safe

The only thing you have to be scared of here is.... Cobra and his Huggles. But thats not something you should be scared of, you should embrace that.
