Members Only Areas:
SpoilerSome areas of the base are DNA locked and alignment locked so that only members with no evil intent can enter unescorted. These include the Security Room, the Armoury, the Detention Wing, and the Artifact Vault.
Artifact Vault - Set next to the Armory, this is where GLoG's major artifacts are stored. The door is DNA locked to members only.
SpoilerThe Brightheart
The Brightheart is a plain orb, set upon a stone plinth labeled 'The Brightheart'. Also on the plinth is a note that says:
'Do Not Remove. Ever. No, not even then. (But maybe then.)'
The Brightheart itself glows with inner light, and throws up a positive energy blanket of moderate strength (heals most surface wounds, and makes undead sick) a few meters in radius. Touching the Brightheart results in having a large amount of positive energy run through you (heals all wounds, and drives undead to near death). Inside the plinth itself is a gate to the Negative Energy realm, which draws off the excess positive energy from the Brightheart. Should the Brightheart be removed, and taken away from the base without the necessary preparations being made, two Very Bad ThingsTM will happen.
A) The Brightheart's positive energy will not be siphoned off, and so it will be returned to full strength, throwing up a powerful positive energy blanket about a kilometer in radius, and killing anyone who touches it, living or no, through sheer positive energy overdose.
B) The gate to the Negative Energy realm will become unstable and tear, creating a giant Negative Energy rift in the middle of GLoG.

The GLoG portals:
SpoilerThe portal between GLoG and HALO is still open, providing instantaneous transportation between the two organisations.
But anyone passing through it arrives outside the front door. If they've already been cleared (previously interacted with GLoG without hostilities), they can walk straight in without having to roleplay out knocking on the door and so on.
There is also a smaller portal operating between GLoG and Farthing Cottage
First time visitors, or people who have previously caused trouble have to wait for someone to undeadtime to decide whether they can enter the building (GLoG), or not, unfortunately. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Old GLoG has been vacated and may never return to it's former glory.

Butler continues to water the onions he planted. He wonders if Vidalia might be hiding in them. She would do that too.
"Vidalia ma'am?" He feels kinda silly. Maybe he's just talking to himself?Last edited by Reinholdt; 2009-11-24 at 11:38 AM.

Must've been. Oh well. Butler finishes up just in time to hear the car horn honk.
He dashes Outside and hops in an open-air convertible where three topless catgirls wait for him in the backseat. They don't waste any time getting started flirting as the car drives off with Butler.

Mainframe watches and Does Not Approve. Butler is going to a bad place. An unsafe place. If the enemy should bring harm to him....
No, Mainframe knows nothing of "Adam". Mainframe is worried because Butler is going to the place where the Alek/Czer/Lake analogue popped out.
Using the MagSat feed (after a player check for permission), Mainframe watches Butler during his travels. My avatar! Isn't it just utterly diabolical? Ashen Lilies made it!

Re: GLoG XLVII: Nothing can stop us. Well, except that.
[Great Room]
Zee is still here.
Seems she has fallen asleep on one of the couches.
Seems she has also slipped back into her fully hydra body while asleep.
Which means there's now twenty four feet of sapphire blue serpent-spawn hydra draped all over the room, snoozing away. For whatever odd reason each of the hydra-heads still has Zee's trademark hair-style. Scrunchy and all. The thing's upper body also happens to have retained Zee's figure. Which is frankly weird.
To keep her from being indecent her normal attire has somehow conformed to her limbless body. Thank Deios for those Hulk Pants she got at the Omnishop all those years ago.Warning! Random Encounter™ detected!

Eklipso glances over at the couch that Zee's on, and shrieks at the sudden appearance of a monster-like thing. (And by sudden appearance, I mean she somehow didn't notice her before).

Re: GLoG XLVII: Nothing can stop us. Well, except that.
[Great Room]
The screaming fails to rouse the monster.
One of the heads mumbles something about brownies being left in the over too long in her sleep.
Oh.
Wait.
The screaming failed to rouse most of the monster. As for the thing's middle head, it hoists itself up off a cushion and blinks a few times at Eklispo rather blurrily. Then yaaaaawns wide, showing off a mouth full of dagger-like teeth and a pair of no doubt venom filled fangs.
A slight waft of azure blue fog rolls out of her maw and drifts down to the floor, where upon it begins eating at the carpet like acid.
She makes a chewing, smacking sound for a bit longer, apparently trying to wake up. "Why so loud...?" the hydra mutters drowsily.Warning! Random Encounter™ detected!

Oh, um...sorry. It was nothing. she says, backing up a bit. Sorry for disturbing you, She gets up and runs out of the room, away from Zee, and a deadtime ooze sneak-attacks her from around the corner.

[Great Room]
Now, as Rebo recalls the great room can been seen from the kitchen.
Which means the soul reaper fellow will probably have a pretty decent view of about twenty four feet worth of three-headed hydra draped over one of the couches.
One of the heads appears to be awake.
And she seems to be trying to rouse the other two.Warning! Random Encounter™ detected!

Daisuke looks at the hydra-thing.
He walks over. Hello... I don't think I've seen you around here before.
I'm Daisuke.
Do you want help with that?

The giant, sapphire blue three headed-serpent grins a friendly (albeit toothy) grin. "Yes! That would be great! I could really use a hand here."
She giggles a hissing giggle at her own awful pun.
"I can make myself more human than this. But..." she glares at the other two heads. "I need the rest of me awake to do it. And they're pretty out of it."Warning! Random Encounter™ detected!

Re: GLoG XLVII: Nothing can stop us. Well, except that.
There's heavy knocking at the front door. Almost seems as though somebody's trying to knock the door down. Or maybe something very large is merely trying to attract the attention of those inside.

The hydra grins her rather goofy grin. "I try to make life a little more interesting for everyone else! And yeah, a pitcher of water would be great! I'm sure that'll manage to wake these two gals up just fine."
As for the other two hydra heads, they're still snoring away.Warning! Random Encounter™ detected!

Re: GLoG XLVII: Nothing can stop us. Well, except that.
Daisuke looks at a conviently placed servant drone behind him.
Get to it.
Affirmative statement: Sir, yes sir!
Very quickly, a huge bucket of water is being hovered over the hydra.
Dump it.
And it is dumped!
...
And water collection devices are placed so the carpet isn't ruined. Or something.

Re: GLoG XLVII: Nothing can stop us. Well, except that.
[Great Room]
And thus a large volume of cold water is deposited atop the hydra. Which results in the two sleeping heads suddenly snapping upright with a,
"BWAH!"
"BWAH!"
The other head is laughing pretty hard now.
"Why did you wake me up?"
"That wasn't funny!"
"'cuz we reverted to our hydra form when we fell asleep," the other explains.
The other two heads blink.
Then look at each other.
Then down at their serpentine body.
"Oh."
"Oh."
"I needed all of us awake before we could morph back," the middle head laughs. "Hey, uh... Daisuke? This will take a few minutes. You might want to answer that door before it gets busted down."
And that said she rather abruptly discoporeates into a massive swarm of sapphire blue snakes.Last edited by Rebonack; 2009-11-24 at 05:42 PM.

Re: GLoG XLVII: Nothing can stop us. Well, except that.
[Kitchen]
Misaki Prime sits at the kitchen table, petting Olly the vaccuphant, her empty breakfast dishes before her, looking glum.
___
Poor Misaki #2. Butler left without saying goodbye to her. The note on the bulletin board was the first notice she got of it. And she doesn't have Olly to comfort her.
The little catgirl looks up at the bulletin board, and then her fists clench. "He left without saying goodbye...." Misaki feels her eyes watering and rubs at her face.
She looks up at the message, and then decides. "I'll just have to go find him, then! He just can't leave like that! I'll go to his home and make up missing his birthday to him, somehow!"
Misaki #2 dashes off to pack.

Misaki Prime may notice Daisuke.
Who she was organising a wedding for, without his knowledge.
He looks at the poster. Um... thanks? If we need one, we'll come to you.

Actually, both Misaki's have that past. They split off when Quinn, Happy, and Butler went to the Glass Citadel to get Phoenix. That's when the temporal anomaly occurred that split them.

The stone golem remains motionless for a while longer, before trying to force its way in. The other hand to the one with the poster is holding a hammer and several bent nails. Maybe it wants to put the poster somewhere it will be noticed?

[Great Room]
There are presently thousands of small blue vipers all over the floor, couch, and most everything else in the room. At present they're all chattering at one another in high-pitch, squeaky voices. Seems they're working out the details for putting themselves back together properly.
One of them somehow ended up on the kitchen table.
"Hey! You look kinda glum, what's wrong?" she inquires of Misaki.Warning! Random Encounter™ detected!
