I'm going to conditionally approve some of that. Repairs: Approved.

Increase in security, approved. As part of that, please remember that Magtok is not a member. He is not supposed to have access to our security systems.

Non-member access... partially approved. They should have members with them, and they shouldn't be allowed into critical areas. But I'm not banning them from the base.

Catpeople detainment, denied. I want security drones posted on them, but if they haven't been affected by this, I don't want them imprisoned wrongly.

Also, follow me, I'm heading down to consult a psychic on the catperson buisness, anyway.

Astrid quietly approaches Quinn. Quinn? Are you OK? Even as she asks quietly she picks up the forms to fill out to make the name legal for the baby.

DC is there, blasting targets with the two floating heavy weapons.

She is still a she and doesn't seem to notice Daisuke showing up.

Considering the LOUD sounds, it's fairly easy to guess why.

Daisuke waits until there's a pause, then yells.

DC! I NEED PSYCHIC HELP ON SOMETHING!

The firing stops, DC putting the weapons back in her extradimensional storage space pockets.

"Don't know how much I can help, but... go on?"

Quinn doesn't answer Astrid, only turning her head slightly and seeming to look at her, although she doesn't say a word, or nod...

...she then turns back to the baby, looking down and gently rocking it to sleep as she closes her eyes for sleep herself.

I've got a catperson who's got her mind affected in some way... it's Misaki.

She's currently in the Detention Block, and I was wondering if you could trace the mind control/affecting when she undeadtimes.

Alternatively, do you know where the catperson homeland is?

DC probably appreciates Daisuke's restraint regarding that last crossed-out bit.

"Hm... I've been there once, but only by portal. So... I couldn't place it. As far as Misaki goes, I'll see what I can do. I have... some experience in tracing other psychics." DC shudders a bit, remembering Alek.

All right. I'll ask the Mainframe where it is, maybe it'll know.

The problem is, this isn't specific to Misaki. It seems to be all catpeople.

"Perhaps..." DC seems to think for a moment or three, before looking back up at Daisuke. "Wait. Remember the last time a catperson started acting strange? It was Irene. You don't think this is linked to Calublufiok somehow, do you?"

Yes. DC is willing to grab onto every possible connection with unraveling plots as she possibly can.

She tends to be right more often than not.

Glog's Door

Three knocks mark the an arrival.

Three knocks and a billowing cold wind beneath the door.

Daisuke looks through a crack in the door.

Runner looks over at the door when the knocking sounds. And since Daisuke has got it, he simply watches.

Before Daisuke is a man clothed in only armor of ice, he is whitered and frostbitten, and his face bears the pallor of a man who has long been dead. Still, his eyes burn with the fire of those who have not rested ever since the fateful event.

Behold Nemo, such is his alias, for his name is not 'portant. Only the portents he brings are.

"Open these doors. And hear my words. For they are grievous, and of great import to you and yours."

Daisuke opens the door.

Runner watches the pair carefully.

"Who are you anyway? Is the brown-haired lass still around?" - Happy. It should be noted that Nemo's voice went from grim and sullen to somewhat airy and unconcerned.

Then sudenly, he is a gust of wind passing through Daisuke and into the room.

"Also sorry, but I need to deliver this to as many people as possible here."

Now that Nemo is more visible, he is carrying a large bag slung over his back.

And Runner will go to step in front of Nemo.

Sir, I'm going to have to ask that you please cooperate with us on this. Please, deliver the message, and we will see that it gets to everybody.

She's currently AWOL.

Nemo holds his ground before Runner. Snow is falling from him on the floor.

Phillip hears the commotion and comes outside, and stares at the trio.

Susan wakes up from deadtime, seeing the mess. She locates a drone, and has it fill her in.

"...what?" She says, disbelieving. "No, no all of that?" She asks. "Reinholdt was here? Why isn't he dead?! Quinn had the child? Is it okay?" Susan asks, worried about everything. She doesn't even know about the mainframe yet...

Then she notices Nemo. She gets the drone to perform an alignment scan on him as she rolls up to Daisuke. She looks weary.

((Gah. Connection seized up then I had to go last night.))

DC goes to put up a message on the bulletin board then deadtime again.

Nemo is pure, lawful malevolent.
