Turkeyzillas are a dangerous lot, coming out in the late fall season to feed upon the unsuspecting and anything else that they deem as edible (which is unfortunately most things). Usually solitary, due to the sheer amount of food required to support their massive bulks, they only gather in numbers for breeding every decade or so, which tends to be the time when the orcish hordes flee their mountains to civilized lands to escape the Turkeyzilla feeding frenzy.
Turkeyzillas are typically towering, 50 feet from from beak to base of tail, with wingspans of at least 120 feet. They're surprisingly agile for their size in the air, making amazing turns in the air and snatching the unsuspecting before making for the breeding grounds to feast, the only warning of their coming is the sudden pick up of the wind and the booming gobbles.
Combat
Turkeyzillas are simple sorts, usually flying in to enact a crush attack before rising back into the air, thanks to Adroit Flyby Attack, circling to see which tasty morsels seem disabled enough to be Snatched and Swallowed for its own version of Turkey Stuffing (Energy damage is Acid for purposes of Snatch and Swallow).
Only when following the orcish hordes into civilized lands do the Turkeyzillas come in numbers and make like locusts on the pillaged villages, feeding on whoever is available. In these instances, they will be a little less flighty and melee whatever into ground pork before going down the gizzard to be ground down further.
Skills
Turkeyzillas have a +4 racial bonus to spot.
EDIT (Nov 30): Slow Turkey is no longer slow and now makes its own Stuffing!Last edited by Cieyrin; 2009-11-30 at 03:24 PM.

Re: Thanksgiving: The Coming of Turkeyzilla
Yeah dude, now that that's mentioned, have you ever seen a turkey run? Those things can move
then again, this one could be so insanely overweight it can't run anymore...

Re: Thanksgiving: The Coming of Turkeyzilla
Judging by its size and the length of its legs, it looks like it can still move pretty fast.
EDIT: I'm going on YouTube to look up a turkey run.Last edited by Temotei; 2009-11-25 at 08:32 PM.

Re: Thanksgiving: The Coming of Turkeyzilla
It's amusing, but what can it actually do?
It just looks like a scaled-up Roc to me, kinda boring in combat for something meant to be funny. You could have at least given it fire breath or laser eyes.Last edited by UglyPanda; 2009-11-25 at 09:56 PM.

Re: Thanksgiving: The Coming of Turkeyzilla
Yeah...just look at the flaming buildings! Pretty sure buildings don't go through spontaneous combustion and fall apart...at the same time...just because a giant turkey stepped through them.
EDIT: Also, the Charisma should be lower. They're as ugly as...something.Last edited by Temotei; 2009-11-25 at 10:18 PM.

Re: Thanksgiving: The Coming of Turkeyzilla
I seem to recall giant abyssial turkeys being somewhere on the boards, complete with description of the cooking procedures in hellfire.

Re: Thanksgiving: The Coming of Turkeyzilla
Special Attack: Spew Stuffing (Ex): Once per round A Turkeyzilla can spew forth delicious bread-crumb stuffing from its mouth. This delicious bread-crumb stuffing occupies a 15ft square area anywhere within 30 ft of the Turkeyzilla. Creatures within 100ft of the delicious bread-crumb stuffing must succeed on a DC 22 will save or move directly towards the pile at a run. Once there, they can do nothing but gorge themselves on the delicious bread-crumb stuffing for 1d6 rounds.

I think the tail feathers would be the place to start. Add in a tail-whipping ranged attack that does piercing damage with the points of the feathers. The attack could launch ten feathers, each dealing 1d4 + 20 (Strength bonus) damage. If you want to consider it a throwing attack, get rid of Iron Will and replace it with Power Throw.Homebrew

Re: Thanksgiving: The Coming of Turkeyzilla
Yes, it's the much anticipated sequel to Hey What Should Turkeyzilla Be Able To Do? Maybe Give It Swallow Whole
book 2 deals with alternative ideas...
and now that you mention it
Gobble Gobble (Ex) A Turkeyzilla can try to swallow a grabbed opponent of a smaller size than itself by making a successful grapple check. Once inside, the opponent takes 2d8+12 points of crushing damage plus 8 points of acid damage per round from the beast’s gizzard. A swallowed creature can cut its way out by using a light slashing or piercing weapon to deal 25 points of damage to the gizzard (AC 17). Once the creature exits, muscular action closes the hole; another swallowed opponent must cut its own way out. A Colossal Turkeyzilla's interior can hold 2 Large, 8 Medium, 32 Small, 128 Tiny, or 512 Diminutive or smaller opponents.Last edited by Caldarin; 2009-11-25 at 10:50 PM.

Re: Thanksgiving: The Coming of Turkeyzilla
...That's because it is a scaled-up Roc, more or less. I suppose I could have made it half-dragon to get fire breath. Also, Rocs are slow on the ground, though i see no reason Turkeyzilla should necessarily be so as well. Speaking of it being Half-Dragon...
I was going to give it Snatch and Swallow from Draconomicon, though that requires the Dragon type. Making it Half-Dragon would tidy that up nicely, as i can switch out Iron Will or one of the Improved Natural Armors for it.

Re: Thanksgiving: The Coming of Turkeyzilla
Or you could just give it Snatch and Swallow, and not limit yourself by the type restriction in this case...
