I was asking one of my female friends for advice about a very specific situation which was made very clear to her. She still kept asking questions to me about general habits and stuff that weren't relevant. I told her "tips or gtfo".

And now I'm climbing up the slope back to Normal Mode and/or Chipperness. I think I am either emotionally [insert word that means able to get back to normal after such things] or possibly bi-polar.

Went shopping today. Again.
Here is a list of things I bought: H2G2 (the first three. Or was it four?), The Art of War plus some maps, a score book containing major and minor moments of musical geekiness, some choccies, a silk scarf and no less than three other books I personally want for Christmas.
Really now, when I buy five books and end up coveting all of them myself you know how similar and/or generically fantastically sci-fi geeky my family and friends are.
(One of those books is the latest WOT book (yeah, I know, but my mum collects them all) and it's autographed. And I technically got it for a tenner. Five pounds off before buying it, then another fiver off with my loyalty card)

Presentation is done, huzzah! Managed to successfully talk in front of a room full of people without horribly embarassing myself, even when interrupted by the cleaner. I'm now the proud owner of a tiny DVD of myself presenting. No idea what I'll use that for, but still nice to have, I suppose. Maybe when I've become world famous (and I will!) I'll ebay it for a fortune.

Recent events which Koorly does not wish to reveal built up into a minor breakdown, mostly crying.
All she'll say is that Koorly was stressed out from getting all her holiday homework done before Christmas, finding a job, sorting out and living with familial crises, doing literally all the present shopping for almost two dozen family members on my own, adjusting to the fact I geniunely have no room of my own and that I'll be living out of a box and a rucksack for the next month and the fact that there is a ticking time bomb in my future which will geniunely ruin all of my highest aspirations and effectively destroy my life.
Nothing much.
