Let's compromise and call it a graphic novel?

My point of view exactly.

I'd rather call it a graphic novel. Really, the name fits. It's a novel in that it is a story, and it presents the story through pictures. Thus, graphic novel.

Plus, then you'd have to go into more complicated stuff. What do you call someone of North American Nationality who draws in Manga-style? And what about European Artists? And Australian? And African?

Graphic Novel just seems to fit. It sounds right, and there's no hint of Nationality.

Nah, I was saying that you call their work whatever a comic would be called in their home country. The Japanese word for comic is manga, so we call Japanese comics manga. The German word for motorway is autobahn, so we call call German motorways autobahn.

North American, Australian etc. works would just be called comics.

But I guess it's all up to you what you want to call it. Personally, I call any form of representing a story through a graphic medium a novel. You can call them, Manga, Manhua, Comics, Webcomics. What ever you want.

But the most important thing is that we read them. No matter what Nationality, or Art Style, we read them because we enjoy them.

And isn't that what matters the most?

Me too, but I usually don't get home until 9ish and they take about an hour and a half to make. I'll try to get them before 10. Also, Europeans are farther ahead than us, it would have made more sense to think I was from the west coast.
