"Get bent," Charity calls out in a sleepy voice. She'd get up and use her ghost trap now, but she just got under the covers, and she's really tired after dragging all those mattresses... yeah. Too much trouble.

[Infirmary]

In Happy's infirmary room, the MagChair sits empty, and her bedcovers are rumpled. Looks like she just stepped out to go to the loo or something. She'll probably be right back.

Realizing a small mistake, once Nurse Piper leaves, Bianca reaches out of the shadows and attempts to pull the Magchair into the shadow.

Brendan smiles and locks his arms around Ashna's waist to hold her close, gently. "Being here with you, like this, watching the sunset...I don't know how I could be happier, love."

Zamira shifts back to fox form, and curls back up by the fire.

The tattoos were present in roughly the same patterns in her human form.

"Oh? Good." He smiles briefly, but the expression quickly fades. "Have you been exploring the area around the campsite, then?"

Ashna is held closer, leaning back in the chair.
Several ideas regarding happier come to her mind. All are rejected unsaid. It's sort of rhetorical.
How about, "You don't have to know how something will happen.
It is wonderful. Peaceful."

Anybody walking around outside might notice the trail of ectoplasm leading into the woods. They might also notice Crodelus walking from his cabin toward the lodge with a book tucked under his arm.

Coplantor, holding a hammer in his right hand, a screwdriver in his left hand and a bunchof nails in his mouth is standing right in the middle of the main lodge.

So, I'm more than willing to gice you people a hand with the base building stuff
*sips a bit of the screwdriver*

He smiles and drinks some more

"I have! I found a meadow that had such pretty flowers." Anila ractically gushes. The Solar would probably note the fresh flowers that have been woven into the brim of her straw hat. Her voice drops a little and she speaks in a more serious tone. "And I was taking a look at the compound's defenses. There aren't much, that I could see."

Brendan nods, smiling. "It is. If there was a nice blanket of snow, it'd be perfect."

He makes an effort to tune out the drunken carpenter for just a little longer.

The tree next to the two Exalted suddenly speaks up.

That's because you lot haven't had time to settle in. I believe that nice fellow... Merrick? Was asking the wolves to keep an eye out, and you wouldn't believe the number of protective spells cast recently. Also, we'd probably help out if someone did attack. I hate having my peace and quiet disturbed.

Unfortunately, Ashna and her fire magic can do nothing to create more snow.
She giggles. I think I prefer it the way it is.

Brendan chuckles as well. "As long as you're here I like it any way it is." And the back of her neck gets a kiss.

"I was afraid of that. I hope that arms merchant returns soon. We'll be setting up a ring of salt to keep out ghosts and zombies, and a network of motion sensors and remote weapons turrets."

"And, of course, there's the local flora and fauna to take into account," Anshu finishes after the tree speaks.

Coplantor walks around, measuring the place, taking notes and mumbling.
Uhm, yes yes yes...
How many inches were a meter again?
Aha, yes, so this would go here, and that over there...
Maybe something to enhace the defences...

Ashna smiles and turns to look back at Brendan.
And I'm happy anywhere with you. But we are still in the middle of the main lodge... More laughing. She doesn't really care by now.

Brendan laughs as well, and leans in to put a kiss on Ashna's nose. "Maybe we should do something about that, huh?"


[Where Coplantor is]

A junco, having slipped in through a gap in the rafters, tries to land on the half-elf's head.

Ashna is surprised and kissed on the nose.
I think we should. She glances at Coplantor.
She goes to kiss Brendan on the cheek before standing up from the chair.

Wich actually succeeds (the bird).

Coplantor looks at the notes he took, carefully reading them.

Mmmmm, this is going to need some manpower... if only I had my spellbook, or my squad of loyal platypi...

Crodelus walks into the main lodge and sets the book he was carrying on a table near the door, next to the bags of feathers. Then he'll write a note which he'll use the book to weigh down. Looking around, he sees nobody awake except for the couple by the window. As such, unless one of them talks to him, he'll head back outside.

Found this book while cleaning my cabin. Thought some members of the league may be interested.

The book is titled Phoenix Lake Campfire Stories, and appears to be rather worn from age and repeated readings.
