    Fanfiction as a plot device.

Or you could try to combine the voted most squickiest subjects into something that warps reality:

I'm sorry to do this to you, but it looks like you're going to have to make an account. My FF.net account is backlogged in regards to the story, so it would be too confusing to have it there, and I can't think of anywhere else to put it.

Don't worry. You're not obligated to agree with me or like my stories.

And I may not be able to write a lot anymore. I just got a warning from Roland about linking my last story and I'm a little nervous about posting anything. In my observations, Coffee, the biggest detriments to being on the internet are being in a serious relationship and being rejected by someone who you wanted to be in a serious relationship with.

Oddly enough, I did catch onto what she was planning before she made it clear. Sometime between '"My name's Deirdre, you know," she said, smiling.' and her smashing the glass in his face. *shudder*

That actually surprises me. While the subject matter was certainly not family friendly, there wasn't anything explicit. Or is there a general frowning on posting to anything questionable off-site?

It could just be that we're under particularly close scrutiny at present.

Can't you just post any new stories on DeviantArt and mention you've posted them?

Don't stop writing (please!), but equally don't feel you have to rein it in to concede to the rules just so you can post here. I think it's gotten to the point where enough people like your stories that they'd look out for them somewhere off-site.

The cliffhangers you've got us hooked on currently are sufficient alone...

Okay I've just got to try this.

Here's my first roll... Gender-Switched Shadowdancer/Mr. Scruffy. Everyone is a furry version of themselves.

    Spoiler
    Show
It was after the assassination attempt on the King of Nowhere had gone horribly wrong. The Shadowdancer had been separated from his partner in the confusion and had been for hours. Risking a return to the destroyed inn to see if he was there, something caught his eye. It was a belt, one he recognized. That female warrior who had so effortlessly defeated them had been wearing it. Perhaps... he could gain some of her power?

Once he put it on however, he didn't notice any difference at first. Maybe it wasn't even magical. In another moment however, his chest became distinctly heavier and he suddenly realized he was... missing something.

    Crap.

Well, at this point his ring of disguise would just be redundant. He, or rather she, slipped it off and pocketed it, revealing that she was in fact a cat-girl.

There was no time to look for some sort of way to remove the curse. She had to move on to her next mission - the assassination of Lord Shojo of Azure city.

Weeks later she arrived at her destination. Though she had finally re-united with her partner, they had soon parted ways on sour terms since the horny dwarf wouldn't stop trying to get her in bed with him. She crept into the palace, easily sneaking past the guards and paladins, none of whom had spot or listen as a class skill. Entering the near-empty throne room, she spied her target, and... something on his lap.

The scruffy white cat awoke, and their eyes met and locked. She felt something grow hot in her loins. All reason fled from her mind as she realized that she had found the one she had been searching for her entire life.

Amidst the screeches and yowls of passion, Lord Shojo awake.

"Damnit Mr. Scruffy! I told you not to have one night stands in the throne room!"

You could always ask a mod if they'd be okay with proof-reading to make sure anything you post is ok.

I can't tell what's family friendly either, so you aren't alone, at least. I don't even have my environment to blame it on.

Also, you could always write and upload it on DA, but not link. It wouldn't really be the same, and everybody interested would need to sign up to DA and watch you (or at least check regularly) but you could still write, then. (Don't get me wrong, if you're thinking that it's best you don't write anymore, don't write. If that's the case, then only use my suggestion for when you have plot-bunnies you can't just kill. I'm suggesting this assuming you still want to write. Don't want to make you do anything you don't want to. (But it'd be a shame to lose your writing...))

Unless you can only talk to the person you're with over the internet... like the only girlfriends I've ever had. =/

It's been a bit, GitP. If you're reading this, you're either digging through old stuff, or I've posted for the first time in forever.

If you want to stay in touch, reach out to me on twitter (same username).

The best answer is always to ask your DM.
Unless you're the DM, in which case you should talk to your players.
